Amazon's been on a tear with its expanding practice of offering store credit along with the purchase of games – sometimes up to $20. GamerDeals has put together a handy list of all the current offers (a surprisingly large number). Keep reading for highlights.
$20 in store credit is being offered for the following upcoming releases: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (all versions), Call of Duty: Black Ops (all console versions), Fable III and Halo: Reach (all versions). For a full listing of the current deals, click here.

@Shadowbender - It's crazy what a DSL with a proper focus will do

@Picasotriggerfish I dunno, it looks abnormally high-quality...

@Picasotriggerfish You could take that same picture just as well on a PaS. The only possible problem would be noise, and provided the lighting is the same as what is in the picture it would look just as well. This picture is FAR from showing what a DSL could do.

I really doubt that. I would love to find a PaS that can take a macro shot of that sharpness and detail to use along with my DSLR

I make all of my purchases from Amazon now. Street-date Delivery and $20 credit on your next purchases is the best.
Early this year I bought;
RDRedemption, MetroidOM, and Starcraft 2, all 3 had a $20 credit. Recently I pre-ordered Halo:Reach Legendary; 150-60+free shipping = 90'ish
So, I'm happy with making my purchases from Amazon.

Exactly. I bought Mario Galaxy 2, $20 credit. God of War 3, $10. Metroid, $20. Reach, $20. Fable III will give me another $20. Free Release-Date Delivery with my free student Amazon Prime, and more times than not, MS Point cards can be had for $16.50.
I just wish I didn't take $30 in credit to buy the Force Unleashed special edition...what a waste of free money.

@sithyaoigamer What Starcraft 2 had a $20 credit? Oh man I bought it at Kmart for that reason alone since everything else I get its at Amazon.

Me too, Amazon gets 100% of my game purchases now. I dont even bother buying used anymore. The industry needs to take a look at what theyre doing.

I make about 75% of my purchases at Amazon. Between Warehouse Deals, new prices, and game credits, they are amazing. The only other place I'll go is the Gamefly store. During their sales with free shipping, they got some fantastic used deals.

amazon definitly pwns gamestop.
they give store credit on most pre-orders, and everytime i traded a game in, Amazon has given quite a bit more credit than gamestop.

@FlashJS This.
Not only does the list constantly update itself, the source is set in stone. There's no need for constant new posts to let gamers know about the Amazon deals. Just check the thread, see the games listed alphabetically, and look for the deal that suits you.

Screw Gamestop. I have yet to walk into one, find a used game, look up the lowest used price on Amazon using my phone, and have it be cheaper in the store. And don't even get me started on how little they would pay me if I sold a game to them.

I'd take advantage of the deal for Lords of Shadow, but I just know the price will drop from $60 soon enough.

Usually the in-store credit for these amazon deals is for ONLY if you use it toward another game-related purchase, AND they usually expire after anywhere from 1-3 months.

Get a $20 Video Games Credit
Pre-order Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and get $20 off a future video game purchase. The promotional code will be placed directly into your Amazon.com account within 2 business days after the product ships. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Promotion valid on all existing orders. Limit one per household.
It's for games only. When I pre ordered Mario Galaxy 2 I tired to use the $20 on some blu ray's and it would not let me.

Best thing is that you can still do a preorder the night before launch, so, you get to read the reviews before making your decision AND still get the $20. That's what I did for RDR, just waited to see how it was received then bought it right away. Win-Win!
