2K Games hosted a video livestream of its booth shortly after the re-announcement (or is it un-cancellation?) of Duke Nukem Forever, showing off a few fans getting their first shot at the alien-murdering sim. You can check out a couple of over-the-shoulder gameplay clips from this stream posted just after the jump.
And, yes, it is worth noting that this particular demo begins with Duke Nukem relieving himself, an action you apparently execute by pressing Right Trigger. You're going to feel tempted to press Left Trigger, but for the sweet love of God, you have to resist that urge.
While I agree that the negative comment was not neccessary and that he should have used his own comment instead of feeding off someone else's comment...I also feel that both of these guys need to respect each other's opinions here and just let it go instead of wasting time arguing over something so stupid.
But just because someone says something(even if it's the opposite of what your saying) and directly replies to your comment doesnt mean their directly attacking you.
Thank God that you have to enter your birthdate to watch the video as we all know that is the only foolproof way of stopping under 18 year olds from watching gameplay footage on the internet.
My theory: 2K is simply respecting the memory of DNF by continuing to tease the game until the end of time. Like the titanic, cosmic joke it has become to every living person who knows of its existence.
Did anyone else found it funny that we are requested to an age verification in order to see some game footage while there were kids playing the demo??? :oP
Duke Nukem Forever is a first-person shooter that has been in development since 1997 by the software developer 3D Realms. It is intended to be a sequel to the 1996 game Duke Nukem 3D, as part of the long-running Duke Nukem video game series. The game's development was directed by George Broussard, one of the creators of the original Duke Nukem game. Intended to be groundbreaking, it became infamous for its severely-protracted development schedule. The game has been the subject of much speculation, and has frequently been referred to as vaporware.
