Yeah, I really wish they'd stop russian as villains so much, I mean the cold war has been over for decades, let it go. I'd like to see a game where a typically "good" nation portrayed as villains - like Britain or French or something (nothing against them btw). I'd say US too (i.e. as villains) except that it would never sell in US (too sensitive) so right away you're really cutting down its market.

I was surprised at how fun the demo is. I think I actually might get this game.
I'm also surprised at how I was 20 seconds into the demo and heard everyone screaming "MOTHER F***ER!!" "MOTHER F***ER!!!" over and over again. Pretty funny though.

The demo was cake. The English VO is pretty terrible though, I played it in both French and Japanese and found their voices fairly well done. My only complaint is that boost is mapped to L2 ... it makes it extremely uncomfortable to aim and boost at the same time. Hope the final game lets you map it to L3 or something.

The more something changes, the more it stays the same. (Why is it always me that says that?)

No one is playing this for the story. They are playing it to grab an incoming missile and shove it straight up the ass of the robot who just fired said missile.

I liked the demo, but one thing struck me: What is the game going to be like when you're just walking around? With the power slide mechanic, I hope they didn't make the game to where you just slide from one room loaded with enemies to another. I prefer games that slow down every now and then so that you can stop and enjoy the scenery.

@gangcar You can't slide infinitely, your suit will overheat. You can slide for quite a while, but in the heat of battle where you'll probably have to melee and use AR mode and stuff, you won't be able to just slide place to place...I hope. Besides, you can always just walk :)
