My backlog is GINORMOUS. And I keep buying new games, which only adds to it!

My most shameful game isn't my oldest, but I still haven't finished FFXIII. And I call myself a Final Fantasy fangirl! *sniffsniff*

Currently working on the very tippity top of Tartarus in P3P

I've got like 10 minutes left in mafia 2, aside from those 4 or so playboys I missed, but im definitely not going after all 159 wanted posters, can never stomach that stuff. After reading some of everybody elses posts, I feel totally compelled to once again beat Half Life Episode 2. Maybe some Shank on hard too, we'll see I guess.

Maybe some DJ Hero.

If I get really ambitious, I need to start over with Mass Effect, or at least backtrack out of the level I'm stuck on and level up some more. Or evict and then murder everyone in Albion.

Dark horses in the offing; finally play HL2 and the rest of the Orange Box, or finish BioShock. Actually, finishing BioShock sounds pretty good, if I can remember how to play it.

My back log is relatively small. I just picked up Bad Company 2 for my PC, so that'll eventually take up a lot of time as well as League of Legends and TF2.

I'm near the end of Mass Effect 2, i got a little burnt out playing that so I took a small break, as I tore through ME1 then started ME2 just a couple days later.

Aside from that, there's not really anything shameful I'm missing out on.

I'm still in the beginning of Red Dead so I'm sure that will take awhile. I'll likely do the 20 hour game more likely than the 40 hours. Who knows how many weekends that will take. Great so far though. I will likely plug in the arcade stick for some SSIV. I swear that game really is amazingly more fun when you have a controller that makes the moves fun to pull off. Next on the backlog after red dead would be FFXIII. After that Mario galaxy 2. Who knows when I'll finally get to unwrap those.

I'm still trying to finish Dragon Age and all its DLC, plus I've got some more DLC to go on Fallout 3.... I've been through the main quest and Operation:Anchorage... I need to go do the rest now. :) In fact, I think I'll go start a game right now...

@MikeSchramm: The bar at my local Applebee's is in Red Dead Redemption?

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm headed out to meet a 37 year old paralegal with a six month old tramp stamp over Apple Margaritas and Wonton Tacos. There's no place like the neighborhood.

Not really sure what's meant by "most shameful," but the majority of games I have gotten in my entire life have not been finished. For example, I did finish all of X-Wing and its expansions (which were all on the CD-ROM release of the game), but I've never continued past Battle 4 of TIE Fighter. I think I got hung up trying to get all the Secret Mission Objectives of one of the missions. It's actually almost a surprise when I *do* finish a game.

Anyway, this weekend, I brought along Castle of Shikigami III and Dragon Quest Swords. We'll see if I can borrow a Wii, finally unlock free play in the former (which I've beaten before!), and get further in the latter.

In the middle of Alan Wake, just started Final Fantasy XIII. I just beat Dragon Age last week, and I plan to get around to Awakening soon (bought it when it was on sale). My backlog of bought, entirely unplayed stuff only consists of older games (Killer 7, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner and a few DS games).

I've gotten through my backlog finally so now I'm replaying games of yesterdays to pick up some more trophies.

Anyhow, I find that I often enjoy games more on the second go and especially on the hardest difficulty level.

Backlog would be Fallout 3 and Oblivion. I just don't know if I can or want to invest 100 hours in each game as this year I need as little distractions as possible from university.

Playing at the minute: Metroid Prime from the Trilogy (so got a lot of gaming to do).

Games coming soon I want to play: Civ IV, Metroid: Other M, Fallout: New Vegas (but do I want to put in 100 hours to it either?), 3rd Professor Layton, Okamiden and probably some others.

Games already out I don't have but want to have: Monster Hunter Tri, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, 2nd Professor Layton game (saving it for an attachment in GP when I have to live by myself away from anyone for 3 weeks, with only PC and DS for gaming) and probably some others.

Gaming is stressful when not enough time to play.

It's a PS3/PSP heavy weekend, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Peace Walker, P3P and RDR, Fallout 3, DA: O, about to finish Mafia 2. Is Valkyria Chronicles 1 worth looking for, really love VC2 just wondering if it's necessary?

@Hawkz900 You should definitely get VC1. You can probably find it cheap too. One of my favorite games it is.

Completed Mass Effect 2 some days ago and I'm replaying it on Veteran do make the right choices this time and do things differently, plus reading the codex this time around.

Also been playing Castle Crashers on the PS3 and Shank.

My Backlog is huge, I rarely touched Darksiders since I first got it and Army of Two : 40th Day remains uncompleted as well.
And most of my Steam library is still unplayed or completed too, think I will be doing Fallout 3 first before anything else.

My most shameful game in my backlog? Twilight Princess :( and to make matters worse I won not only the Wii version but the GC version as well.

Any recommendations on which to play first?

Most shameful games in my backlog are Mass Effect 2 and Mirror's Edge. I was at the start of Tali's loyalty mission when I stopped ME2 and am about an hour/hour and a half into Mirror's Edge. Crappy times happened when I was playing ME2 and I've just not been able to get back to it... and Mirror's Edge, I don't know why I stopped.

Currently playing Borderlands and ODST.
