Goddamnit.

Stop getting me hyped up for a game that's not releasing until 2012!

No Bioshock 3 was just a placeholder name until they came up with "Infinite".

i got to be honest, the other boishock games really didn't excite me, but this one looks really cool the aesthetic is really getting at me (maybe because i love history in the early 1900's) i dunno but it looks cool.

I have agree with him. I'm not a huge BioShock fan. The games are designed great, they are entertaining to play, and the settings are great. But something about them turns me off. I don't really enjoy playing them as much as I feel I should. I like them... but I don't love them. I've only picked them up and played them for an hour or 2 and that's all I really felt I needed to see. And I surely wasn't extremely excited about the first two. I looked at them like, that's awesome, but I'm probably not going to play that. Doesn't change the fact that they are great games, also doesn't change the fact that I don't like them as much as the next person.

I'm loving this Victorian/gilded-age period art and setting. I'm not really a fan of Bioshock, but if only for the setting, I can't wait to play Infinite.

I LOVE stuff like this! I'm a Photoshop nut, so this is pure bliss! The altering of the last one with Elizabeth was not done in vain. It clearly came out the best-looking one!

However, they're all stunning and really creative covers. I definitely want to collect them all!

why even promote this game so early in development... i bet by the time this game comes out it will be dramatically different. Look at GT5. That game is lightyears ahead of GT5:P

Does that look like Teddy Roosevelt to anyone else in the one where Handyman is getting his hat off the ground?

Ok, forget the Handyman, what the hell is that third thing!? I think the cover went through a lot of revisions because they hadn't gotten that thing's design down yet. But the final thing looks menacing as hell.

If they actually refer to this as Bioshock 3 then this game will be on my no buy list. Bioshock 2 should have been called...Bioshock 1.5: The Search for More Money. This is the true Bioshock sequel.

What an idiotic reason to not buy a game. I would buy Bioshock 2 even if it was called "Poopy Skyline and the adventures of Seven Mr. Soda Esq. III".

Don't judge a game by it's title.

@PR0F3TA

It's actually $14.99 for the year membership to Game Informer + the Edge Card, but it was $5 for you because you likely purchased used games and/or did a trade at the time of signing up so you received the discount immediately.

But yeah, it's a great deal, and the exclusive articles they receive before anyone else makes it worth while.

[And yes, I'm a store manager of a GameStop, but it doesn't change the fact that the GI is a great deal for gamers. I've had it for 3 years.]

The Handyman cover seems to be the only one that actually matches the period. Murder of Crows is too busy and She and Him has Elizabeth in 1930ish clothing.
