I thought the single player campaign was pretty special, personally.
I'd take it over MW2's any day.

Afraid I gotta disagree with you there. For me, MW2's singleplayer was a blast, but BC2 was a total chore. Love the multiplayer, though.

IMO, it was pretty lame. The actual story was generic, and didnt explain anything that happened in between BC1 and BC2. What happened to the gold? What happened to the legionnaire? At the end of BC1 the guy came out of the burning chopper looking for revenge, and he's no where to be found in BC2.
And the actual singleplayer was just too linear, too much infantry combat. BF is about the vehicles and BC1 got it right, there was a chopper mission and multiple tank missions in large open world environments. There was only one short tank mission in BC2, and no chopper mission at all. It's a disgrace to the Battlefield name.

The actual 'story' in BC2 is garbage, I agree no doubt. However, the gameplay through the story mode is a blast! MW2 is garbage.

Good deal. But Reach comes out in about 8 days, and there's no way I'd ever play it again after that.

Have fun with your huge lag fest, where everyone cares more about K/D ratio than going for the objectives. And no destructible environments.
But to be fair, Bad Company 2 has disappointed me with their 4 person chat and lies about new maps.

Not in Canada :( Too bad need to replace my son's as someone stole it.
Looks like it's Split/Second for $20 off.
But a Xbox 360 Power Base Inductive Charging Dock for $14 & change is not bad. Have one works great.

I know this is completely unrelated - though this is pretty cool - is there a controller for the xbox with the analog sticks in line with eachother and the dpad above the left stick rather that below it more like the ps3 controller design?

Yes, go here:
http://www.htsti.com/?q=%22xbox+360+controller+shaped+like+ps3+controller%22
On a real note, check this out:http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-P3600-Cyborg-Rumble-PP26U/dp/B000TCB3XW/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t
It lets you switch the dpad and analog stick at will so you can have both configurations whenever you want. Now please, l2internet
