According to andriasang.com, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero will hit Xbox Live in Japan starting September 8. The game was delayed last week, reportedly because of some inappropriate content contained in the free trial version of the game. We're not sure what's inappropriate about justly sentencing zombies to a gory death, but the issue has presumably been resolved. Would-be Japanese zombie slayers will be able to purchase the game for ¥600.
Of course, now we have to wonder if tomorrow's other undead XBLA release, Plants vs Zombies, will be deemed inappropriate as well. After all, flinging butter at an unsuspecting zombie is just wrong.

I bought the game outright without trying the trial but I did end up thinking part way into the game what could have been the issue.

Easily one of the best uses of 400 space bucks on XBLA.

Pro Tip 1:
The Boomstick strong attack (pictured above) gives you absolutely amazing XP. It is recommended to play through the game once and use all of the ammo on the strong attacks once you receive the weapon. You should gain at least one full level depending on what level you already are.
Pro Tip 2:
Even though the Boomstick strong attack uses three shots and three shells, you can use it with 1 or 2 total shells left but the move still uses the three shells in the animation.

That would be the drill-bucket. It was OK, but I prefer the paddle-saw.

@ccc That is the waitress outfit, available in the cafe. I find that and the beer hat or moose head to be the best combo to play through with.

The Japanese are cool with sex, but not so much violence.
We are cool with violence, but not so much sex.
It takes all kinds to make a world, folks.

@Ezio Auditore da Firenze I believe that most people would consider rape an act of violence, plus have you ever seen Ninja Scroll, Akira, or Battle Royale?
