If you weren't/aren't very active in that game then don't count on it. I'm assuming they want people who are involved a lot because they have the most experience with the game and it's inner workings. There is no benefit in them allowing in people who pay SONY, not them, extra money for extra stuff. Especially if they can't give proper and effective feed back on the game. And no, "I did not like this game compared to the last one." or "I LOVE THIS GAME." are not effective forms of feedback, for all of you people who would write that sort of theme. ( Not necessarily you cprulez89 )

@(Unverified) That's how I feel too, Sony better give us Killzone 3 Beta entries otherwise I'm gonna have a problem soon. I should have spent my $50 on some games on the PS Store instead of Plus.

@(Unverified) I fail to see where PS+ said that you get access to betas for games that aren't developed by a Sony studio. If it isn't developed by Sony they don't decide what to do with it. I'm fairly certain they were only talking about things like early access to OPEN Betas (which this is obviously not), demos, DLC, and PSN games. NOT Invitation-Only Betas.

First off, it's brand new. What do you expect? Honestly, you're a complete and utter fool if you thought this was going to be perfect, or worth your money at launch. Nothing works that way, return in investment takes time.

They need time to adjust it and work on it, learn from their mistakes and fix them. Last time I checked XBL wasn't anywhere near perfect or working %100 when it launched, still isn't, and Sony hasn't put nearly as much time into developing PSN as Microsoft has into XBL. It's not their fault you made a poor decision. It's their fault they didn't deliver, but guess what. You bought it. Plus this launched what? A few months ago? XBL have has been out about 10x - 15x as long, and no that's not an understatement. (Do the math, 5 years divided by 2-3 months)

And what else that isn't illegal that doesn't involve watching videos, surfing the web, or playing PS3 games are you going to be doing on your PS3? What else could you be doing that could be considered a "threat". I'm assuming you aren't going to try and have sex with it, or feed it. Or mod it into a transformer. Unless you are PRO piracy and the price hikes it causes then there is no issue.

I'll tell you what. You go over to XBox Live and see if they don't also do plenty of things you don't like... you know, like the whole not being able to play games online at all if you don't pay them thing. I use both PSN and XBL, they both do plenty of questionable things. Quit acting like a little baby. At least you can still play games once PSN goes away, that's more than the 360 users can say. And thank god you aren't trying to use the Wii's online. Go try that out, like I did at my buddy's house, and then see if you can find so much to complain about.

Also, if you are going to flame. Come up with something better than R-tard and a bunch of crying. Boo Hoo, I didn't get what I wanted right away! This SUCKS! I HATE SONY NOW! Wah wah wah!

Sorry if this has already been pointed out but M2 is a Sony developer. They bought them last year (I think it was last year).

And did I say I was okay with it? No. I said you were an you were lacking in the intelligence department for acting like you expected it to be perfect right out of the gate. Honestly? What did you expect from a company who's has little to no experience in the online market?

I am avidly against companies, any of them, releasing stuff that isn't finished. Whether it be games or hardware. No other industry could release something that wasn't finished then fix it, or even not fix it like with the RRoD, and get away with it.

I'm also avidly against people passing the buck for their stupid decisions. Like it or not, crying about this in the comments section of a gaming blog isn't going to bring your money back and NO ONE wants to see it. If it makes you feel better then by all means type it and DO NOT post it when you are done.

I am aware of this, but at this point they are a Sony developer in the same way that BioWare was a Microsoft developer. They still retain rights over primary decision making, they are simply now funded by Sony whereas before they were an extremely small developer funding their own games.

to b fair sony said betas would b part of ps+, but if u think about its a rly bad idea. u need dedicated players from the community not ppl who maybe havnt even played the first one.

Yeah it is certainly a valid way to choose beta testers but I am still bummed about PS+ not getting me in this. I thought this would have been a sure beta for PS+... maybe closer towards release they will have a further along beta?

Yes, and how many exclusive betas are XBox Live users getting? Yeah... no body really cares, neither side is getting anything like that for the money they spent anyways. Note: I am not for or against either PSN or XBL specifically. Both have their ups and downs.

If you bought PS+ just for betas then you need to reconsider how you spend your money anyways. Save your money and just buy a damn game, don't put your faith in something that was a minor footnote of a bigger plan.

It definitely wasn't the reason I got PS+. It was barely even a minor reason. But they promised exclusive betas and you would think a game as big as LBP2 would qualify as a PS+ beta you could get access to. It makes me wonder what betas we'll actually be invited to...

Well we got the Hulu beta but... I personally don't think Hulu is that great compared to what I get from Netflix for $10/month.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Hulu. But having PS+ was just like a chance to get into the Hulu preview right? I'm pretty sure I was never actually allowed to get into the beta for that even though it's downloaded on my PS3. I have Netflix though so I'm fine with that.

i'm from the U.K and uni's here usually dont start till around mid to late september.

And i seem to be very lucky when it comes to betas.. In fact nearly all the ps3 betas and 'invite only' demos seem to find there way to me. :)

Seriously? You're begging on Joystiq? Get out of here. Honestly, just leave. It's invite only, they probably aren't even giving out codes. No one mentioned codes anywhere anyways. It's far more likely that the beta will simply be available in the PSN store for specific people starting on a certain date.
