'Most' PlayStation Move demos coming to PSN after launch

It seems the various game demos contained in the $100 PlayStation Move Starter Bundle will arrive on PSN at a later date. "Most of the demos will be up after launch," noted Sony product manager Ami Sheth in the comments section of a recent Move unboxing vid post on PlayStation Blog. "Stay tuned for PlayStation store updates."

The Starter Bundle disc pack-in supposedly contains 11 demos, and Sony social media manager Jeff Rubenstein calls it "probably the best demo disc that's ever been included with any console." He also promises there'll be a video showing off that disc in the near future. We've requested a list of the demos on the disc, but for now we're eagerly anticipating what will probably be the best video showing off a demo disc ever to ship with any peripheral's marketing campaign.

~~We should also note that an~~ ~~Amazon UK listing~~ for a similar "Move Starter Pack" indicates there are just nine demos on its included disc (which are "subject to change"), ranging from Start the Party! to Hustle Kings. Bizarrely, the product description also suggests that the Echochrome 2 and Beat Sketchers demos on the disc do not feature Move support.

Update: As commenters have pointed out, the UK bundle contains nine demos that will all be available on PSN at launch (detailed by the EU PlayStation blog), which we've listed after the break.

Sorry for the hijack, but I need clarification.

I know the US move comes with SC, and UK Move comes with demo disc. Does the US move ALSO come with a demo disk? All the different international crap confuses the hell out of me.

Do you guys remember all those PS1 game demo discs that had like secret menus from putting in codes. Those were cool.

Yep. The US Move bundle comes with the controller, camera, Sports Champions, and the demo disc.

As you can read on the European PlayStation.Blog :

Wait, so us Brits not only get stilted on a Sports Champions bundle, but we also have a lesser demo disk?!

I'd be fuming if we didn't get Play TV, Mubi and Vidzone!!

@onlineatron but we'll have the Move in just one week... Japan has to wait one month, and for the US, it's in 2 months only ^^. And it seems that the US demo disc will just have 2 more demos : "Heavy Rain Move Edition", and "Resident Evil 5 Move Edition".

Nice try but Sony is a Japanese company. SCEA has little to do with what games SCEE offer.
If you're going to hold a grudge over historic events that happened 230 years ago then you're really not going to get on with anyone from any country, even your own.

Is this only in the UK PSN store or do I have to make a UK account to play this? Still going to play it with the Dualshock 3 regardless, but I still want to try it out.

Is that Mark Hamill in the centre?, Use the move Luke use the move.

Silly Sony, they leaked the other deleted scene from the Star Wars Blu-ray, the one where we discover that Luke's lightsaber was a MOVE all along!

That's a lie. The demo disc that came with my Playstation had Squaresoft and Sony titles. How could any demo beat FF7, Bushido Blade, and Crash Bandicoot on one disc?

ohh man, remember those. I used to love demo discs when they came in magazines and through the PS Underground. Best demo game i played was Geck 2 and Tony Hawk.

McDonalds did PS1 demo discs in meals at one point, my favourite one was for a racer called Firebugs but I could only find the full game while I was in france and couldn't buy it since it wasn't compatible.

@MrAlex Check ebay for Firebugs. I'm in the US but "international" listings came up with some copies. I'm not sure where you are or what you'll find but it's worth a shot I guess.

Yeah, I remember those demo disks for the PS1 that came in magazines. I still have my Tony Hawk, Spyro, and Toy Story disks.

The deal in the uk is better then the us you know? The us pack includes SC but costs $100. The uk pack does not have SC but is only £45, so to compare £45 + £25 (cost of SC in the uk) = £70, and that at the exchange rate is about $94.

I've had Move for a few weeks now and the Demo disc contains the following:
- Introductory Video To Playstation Move
- Playstation Move Setup Guide (458MB Install)
- Sports Champions (1014 MB Install)
- Start The Party (1063 MB Install)
- Kung Fu Rider (462 MB Install)
- TV Superstars (2766 MB Install)
- The Shoot (357 MB Install)
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 (1722 MB Install)
- Beat Sketcher (201 MB Install)
- Tumble (446 MB Install)

All the Demos MUST be installed to your HardDrive and the quality/quantity of the demos ranges from Really Fun (Tumble) to pretty lousy (Kung Fu Rider).
My demo disc has the exact same packaging as the image pictured at the beginning of this article so I would think the disc I have is indeed the final Version.

Dear sony,
Please announce a bundle that doesn't include a ps eye I already have one. Ive also pre ordered a single move controller and would like another. I'd also like sports champions and the demo disk
