This Wednesday: The epic battle of Plants vs. Zombies on XBLA ... plus 'Dance! It's Your Stage'
29
A friendly reminder that the XBLA ports of Plants vs. Zombies and Dance! It's Your Stage sashay in a shambling manner onto Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. The XBLA version of the flora versus undead tower defense title will cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), while that dancing game will be 800 points ($10).
The XBLA version of PvZ features co-op and versus multiplayer, along with your very own customizable house. The XBLA version of Dance! It's Your Stage features, um -- did we mention Plants vs. Zombies is coming out this week?

While 15 bucks is a bit on the steep side, I can't say I'm not tempted.

@MystileArmor yeah, 10 bucks it would have been a sure purchase, at 15, no thanks... I've already bought it for the iPhone, and the new features would be fun, but that is just too rich. Plus with all the games coming out this and next month...

@ZombiTom - It's wasn't their call, they were told to remove it or they'd get sued. They were forced to remove it, which sucks.

I usually try to wait for these to go on sale before buying. But, my kids have been asking for several months about when PvZ is coming to XBLA. Sadly, this'll be a day 1 purchase for me. Hahaha
Actually.....I admit that I can't wait either. ;) Damn you PopCap!

@ccc I play it on an old iPhone 3G and it is nearly perfect, the same game you end up playing on the PC. 15 is a little steep but if you have no other way to play this game, it is well worth it. I think I paid 20 for the PC version and I have no regrets.
