@tampawrx - definitely not my experience or opinion about Bannco - The FnS simply does not perform nearly as well as any new FragFx - I don't know if you have had a chance to try it - I try to get on to test any new FPS products for PS3 or xbox (I have XPS too) - I have a Bannco FnS and I can say definitively - Splitfish is ahead of the game with their newest hardware by far if you compare any of the latest updated FragFx --- also - Bannco just got busted for copying Splitfish tech. Sorry - I support Splitfish developments (officially ;)

@iamofficial Haven't tried SF's new hardware, but their old stuff always felt as if it was ready to crumble. Too bad about Bannco, I've enjoyed using their controllers on both of my systems.

Can I just get the analog stick? I hate moving with WASD, but I love the mouse I already have.

@whatthegeek - Theoretically you would think that could be possible on PC or MAC - that would be an interestingthing to test. The SHark mouse shown at Gamescom appears to be super accurate - so I have high hopes for the retail versions. It is hard to let go of a mouse you love the feel of though -I totally get that.

@iamofficial I actually have a Razer Naga - high dpi, and it's got a number pad on the side for sweet sweet hot key goodness. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

The video says this SHARK is a completely new product from Splitfish that works on as a mopuse on PS3 MAC and PC - also the official word is the mouse is great and it has NO LAG!!!!! which is what sucked sooo bad about my Bannco FnS pos.

Did someone try to mention the FragNstein controller. That is a knock-off of the FragFX controller by SplitFish. I know for a fact that the FragNstein is a horrible controller as I tried one myself. Way too laggy and glitchey.

The FragFX Shark has new upgraded mouse sensor, upgraded software and new hardware changes/design. Based on my feedback and testing I did for them, I think SF has another game changer this year.

I can't wait for gamers to get their hands on the Shark as I know they will love it. Especially the hardcore/pc gamers that wants something advance on the console.

@zDD - Thanks for the confirmation video dude! Hope you are right. BTW - How did it work for you on the PC? Also - can you program enough KB buttons on the controller to make it feel natural on PC as far as standard functions go?

@zDD Ok - just finally got my hands on the Shark Beta - It is SWEEEET! I see now that you can just set up your PC buttons in the keyboard remap - I get it. Yes - this is better than the v2. and (ahem) much better than the pro. Just sayin' ;)

Guys guys guys! Don't be fooled by Spitfish, oops sorry I mean Splitfish!
Their FragFX V1 is not working anymore after Sony's 3.50 firmware update.

Check this out:
---
Sonys firmware update 3.50 terminates the FragFX V1. SplitFish will not be releasing an update to correct this issue as the V1 has been discontinued and not been produced by SplitFish in over 2 years.
There are some counterfeit (illegal) controllers deceptively labelled as V2 that will cease to operate too. SplitFish does not support these.

Within our customer loyalty program we will offer our Frag FX V2 at a significantly reduced price for those who wish to update to Sonys Firmware 3.50 and will therefore be affected.
In order to benefit from this offer please fill out a support ticket at http://support.splitfish.com
---

More problems. 3.51 will be out soon and it wont be just peripherals that don't work.
Have to laugh don't you? There's little else you can do. 2010 and the age of modern tech, yet everything comes out of a grubby sweat shop in Asia.

Sony, I'll sell you for a Pony!

@ps3freak - Sony updates were aimed at disabling some knockoff dual shocks - who can blame them? - The updates haven't knocked out any current Splitfish releases. I don't know why Sony would want to - A mouse combo is the reason many play FPS on PS3 - FRAGFX complement the experience and allows a lot of PC gamers a big comfort level playing in the PS3 community. I am pretty sure sony is happy to let unique and innovative hardware developers help them sell PS3's - and I certainly think the FRAGFX falls in that category.

@iamofficial FragFX V2 does not either work with PS3 3.50 firmware, the mouse is dead and it cannot be reassigned using the controller as the X button does not work.

I think Splitfish have shot themselves in the foot with this one. The bad press alone should have been enough to light a fire under their ass and get them to release the corrective firmware.

Very very poor show Splitfish and Sony has dug their own grave!

@ps3freak
I officially on a group to test the new controllers - and have a V2 as well- and I can tell you it works fine with the 3.50 update - x button and all -

If there is a problem I would email splitfish support.

I do know that the there are FAKE CHINESE PIRATE v2's sold by the same guys who copied the Splitfish code for some other fake controllers - these do not work.

Make sure you have an OFFICIAL controller - If you do - support will help you if it is defective - because if it is authentic it should work fine.
