Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PC delayed until 2011, Euro beta on Oct. 4

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for PC is tapping the snooze button until Q1 2011. Ubisoft made the announcement this morning, along with confirmation of an October 4 start date for the European multiplayer beta on PS3 -- the North American beta begins on September 13.
PC Assassins are probably noticing an emerging conspiracy (by the Templars, perhaps?). The series never seems to make it out on the same day as consoles. Both Assassin's Creed and its sequel came out on PC a few months after their console counterparts -- with some extra DRM drama tossed in for good measure. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is still expected for Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 16 and 18 in North America and Europe, respectively.

It's almost standard practice for every single AAA pc game to get delayed these days.

Nonissue for me. Ubisoft has already made it clear that they don't want me buying their games.

come on guys!! we need to understand ubi soft, they need more time to add all those DRM triggers, too bad this means they won´t have any time left to fix bugs or polish the game or optimize it to run faster, but hey!!! it´s not easy to add 3,000 triggers to a game so the crack groups can have fun for 3 days.....

No surprise here, both AC I and II PC were released months after the console versions (and included the DLC that came out in between the wait).
I really don't think it's a technical delay, it's the same engine as AC II right? The only possibility I can think of is that they don't want PC pirated copies to cannibalize console sales. Let's hope this delay is because they realized the crappy ACII DRM failed and they will be dropping it on this one.

Wow Ubisoft, just waste more time on RDM, its obvious that it will get cracked again. So why waste a year improving it.
