Kinect Sports trailer enters the boxing ring

During PAX, Rare unveiled another sport from its upcoming Kinect Sports: boxing. You can see a few snippets of it in the latest trailer, embedded after the break, as well as some new screens. Rare promises that more additional sports will be revealed at TGS next week. Our hope? Ribbon dancing.

Wii sports with Limbs! It looks good thought. Everytime I think about getting Kinect I fell like I might be cheating on my Wii!

I'm now talking to myself and going to call myself an idiot for not just waiting for my comment to come up but whatever. I hope I have a nice day.

Pondering where my post went to but I'll type it again.
I can't wait for Kinect, and for PS Move. I think they are both going to be better than the... wii.
Have you seen the 'Wizard' game that's going to be made for the PS Move? That seems fun!

Played this. Had a good time. But I couldn't help but feel it was a slight bit inaccurate. When I tried to punch my opponent in the nuts, it just wasn't responding...
Seriously, not a bad entry. It had a great balancing element where if you block three punches, your next blow is a real haymaker.

I don't understand this advertising at all.
I'm not impressed by the art style or the game concepts. (what is this thing called "boxing"? OH WAIT, I've seen boxing before).
What I want to see is how you play it. Or maybe some hints at how deep the game play is.
I guess the idea is "it's wii sports, but now you have arms. and you're using your avatar." ... But I find it about as exciting as the sports titles bouncing around.
(for the record: I played kinect adventures at PAX, and loved it. it works, and i'm buying it. I just don't get this lame advertisement)

@WarrenEBB well, I hope you meant to say you're buying Kinect and didn't mean buying Kinect Adventures (it's included for free). :)

@MDizzy Because Rare is a UK studio... over here in the US, we're the only ones calling it soccer; everywhere else, it's football.
