In a recent Q&A session on Rockstar's Facebook page, the developer responded to a query about Mac support with terrific news for fans of the company's last-gen titles. "Look for the long-awaited release of the classic Grand Theft Auto Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) for Mac -- most likely later this year," Rockstar confirmed.
The Q&A promises that a proper announcement will arrive soon. Until then, we suggest you start planning your crime spree as soon as possible!

Vice City had the best story and characters but the city wasnt diverse enough for me, there werent even any hills. GTA3 was much smaller but some how it felt like a bigger city than Vice.

Time to buy San Andreas for the fourth time!
Got the game when it first came out on PS2. Then bought the Windows version (my pre-Mac days), as I enjoyed modding. Then bought the Xbox version after I no longer had a PS2 and switched from PC to Mac and got a 360.

100% agree. I just couldn't get into the game because of the sunglare (I know, stupid me), but it was seriously so distracting I may as well have put a flashlight against the TV

@NathanDTS GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption were both a lot of fun IMHO but I agree, they were disappointing. Perhaps because they don't feel 'new' or more refined game-play wise, despite the variety of details and graphical overhauls they received.
I just wish Rockstar could make a game where money actually mattered.

Am I the only one who found San Andreas to be one of the most engaging GTA games?
I like the fact that you could build up your character, and it had a lot of RPG elements to it, and in all honesty, eating wasnt that much of a chore. Nothing was more fun than when I put that game in and would speed peddle my bike to the gym to work out. Nothing beats having a shredded CJ that can dual weld some techs.
I wish they would do something like this again, what with the new engine they have. I think a lot of people hate on it because it was so "gangster", when we all know it was fun as shit.

I loved pretty much everything about that game. I don't really care for the other GTA 3/4 games. I have absolutely no interest in mob games. The mafia is a boring and overused topic. Plus, SA had a massive game world with a wide variety of enviroments and locations, all of which felt distinct.
