But with no release date announced, there's no telling how many characters they'll actually put in this. We're already past ten and these are all still basically teasers. Even if you cut out all the clones and close-clones from the mvc series, there's still Tons of characters they could bring in.
Plus they are probably just using modified versions of the SF4 models for the street fighter characters, which means even more time to make other characters!

You're forgetting about Dormammu. He could easily thrash every character revealed in this game so far. Even Galactus at full power didn't dare fight Dormammu in home dimension for fear of getting curb-stomped.

She's like Cody from Final Fight and Street Fighter, she just likes fighting. She's not evil. She is considered as an anti-hero by Capcom, a good character but without a sense of justice. Thats why Tatsunoko VS Capcom only considered Doronjo as the only playable villain in that game.

Holy shit, that trailer would've been amazing if it had just stopped after the Captain America (dude be deflecting mother f'ing helicopters and shiz!), but then they took it to the next level with some Viewtiful Joe riding on top of Amaterasu. Damn son, DAMN.

That was great! Loved the Captain America part, deflecting those blades and the Trish sliding on her motorcycle blasting away was great too. Although, I think Joe and Amaterasu stole the show, i was rolf'ing when Ammy was kicking her legs with no ground to support them. >D

I'd like to see Anita and maybe Norimaru but I doubt either of those is going to happen.
