This would have been even more awesome if they had released Dio's Holy Diver and Killswitch Engage's cover side by side. I'm not shy about the fact that I want more Killswtich than My Curse in Rock Band. Dio's great, I want some Heaven and Hell.

YESYESYESYESYES! I absolutely loved KsE's cover of it (since I'm a HUGE KsE fan), and in some respects, actually prefer it to Dio's original.

I know, blasphemy.

I'd like to see a cover song track pack which has the original version of a song by the original artist(s) along with a cover version (RatM and Springsteen's Ghost of Tom Joad, George Michael and Limp Bizkit's Faith comes to mind).

Nah man, it's a damn good cover. It's actually one of the few songs I have found that's actually cooler when played live then when they recorded it for As Daylight Dies.

I have to say I'm with you on that because it fits more into my musical tastes than Dio's earlier works which were closer to what's considered hard rock by today's standards. Plus... Howard is awesome, and if they released the Killswitch cover then they could have just made a Dio themed track pack out of it instead of individual songs.

Dio's still a beast and he has all my respect. Man was a musical genius and without him rock and metal wouldn't be the same. Someone in the Hard Rock and Metal community today saying they weren't influenced by Dio in some way is even more ridiculous than a musical artist that came after The Beatles saying the weren't influenced by them at all.

Also... it's my firm belief that even if you hate KSE you should go to one of their shows just to see what Adam does.

This Charming Man!? Best song EVAR. So good they have to put seven versions of it on the single!

Hopefully this will be followed up the announcement of "MopeBand", a whole new branch in the series (followed rapidly by Activision's release of the knock-off game "Shoe Gaze Hero", with the addition of a useless "MumbleMeter").

What about some Pulp, please?

"Irish Blood, English Heart" and "This Charming Man" are outstanding. I've been dying for The Smiths to make it's Rock Band debut.

Don't forget: "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before" is on the RB3 disk!!!
