Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood beta delayed [update: Oct. 4 for 'all territories']

There are no doubt some distraught PS3 gamers wondering where their promised Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood beta is today. Sorry, it's not coming: An Ubisoft representative has confirmed with Joystiq that the beta has been pushed back, though the company couldn't offer us an exact date for when it'd be available. More info is supposedly coming "later this week."

With the European date for the beta being October 4, it's likely Ubisoft will announce the beta is worldwide, instead of regional. Who's taking bets?

Update: We guess "later this week" was code for later today! @UbiGabe has confirmed that October 4 is the new date for the PS3 beta for all territories and PSN codes will be mailed out that morning. Better start sharpening those wrist-mounted blades!

Where is my Ghost Recon beta by the way? That got delayed too, didn't it?

Same, I know the game was delayed, but I haven't heard anything about the beta. Ever.

Meh. Already have it preordered, don't care about some silly beta.

probably only gonna buy the game for its single player really. It has always been good but joystiq, can u guys please give us a preview of how the multi-player is like.

Go look up a game called 'The Ship'. MP is pretty much that in AC clothes. Which is good - cause The Ship was surprisingly awesome, just didn't get a lot of attention.

I'm tired of waiting for another one of Ubisoft's delayed events. I'll be cancelling my preorder when I pick up Halo Reach tomorrow.

Yeah, the US beta starts 10/4. I read an email @ work (GS) stating when it started. Everybody has until 10/3 to get a code for the beta. I'm looking forward to it.

Ubi needs to hurry for the Ghost Recon beta!!!

That's sucks. Good thing both Halo Reach and the next phase of the Vindictus beta( awesome game btw) launch this week. They should keep me busy.

I read that as, "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Delayed," and I almost had to whip out the Darth Vader NNNOOOOOOOOOO.

Definitely read that as "for all terrorists."
