Warriors of rock sounds like it should be a game developed by VISCERAL.

You don't have to import GH5/BH/GHWT/GHSH songs again, as far as I know.

Why the hell is xbox and wii $6 and PS3 is $5?

@dukefett It is still $5.99 for PS3 owners. Jostiq just made a small mistake. If you click on their source link, the official press release, it'll tell you it's $5.99 for PS3 owners too.

I already paid to export World Tour and Smash hits once. I was kind of hoping those would automatically import. I'm disappointed but not surprised.

@Def Zeppelin
I don't see anything in that article that says that you will have to pay for it again. I'm pretty sure that if you imported GH:SH and WT to GH5, you're good to go.

@(Unverified) Actually, I was playing Guitar Hero: Metallica yesterday. Even over a whole year later, that game is still fun compared to all these other rhythm games out now. ;)

No, I want to spend my money on games that have consistency and actually let me keep all the music I have.

Activision, I'll give you four times as much to simply export my GH:Metallica tracks to Rock Band. I promise that's infinitely more money than you'll make from me otherwise! Only reason I still have a GH game anymore.

Not being a fanboy, just a greater investment in DLC on that side of the fence, so that's where my platform dollars go at this point.

@tucker973 Don't fret. There's a rumor that more Metallica DLC is coming to RB, and it's supposed to be the entire Master of Puppets album.

If I could import for free into Rockband 3, then maybe they'd have a deal. It is sad to, I used to be a Guitar Hero fanboy... what has become of the series!? That demo was terribly boring. Put the franchise down already.

So wait... even if you already paid to import previous games' songs into GH5 last year, you have to pay a second time to import them to this year's game?

That is a pretty good deal, but I still have no desire to pick this up on launch date. It just doesn't look as appealing as Guitar Hero 5 was (which I did buy on launch date, it was worth it)

Metallica has been the best Guitar Hero game since 3, in my opinion.

And that's just sad.

@Harrishun Agreed. It is all about the songs and I want metal. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are the same damn game. Everyone of these games except for the Metallica one is filled with 50% songs I hate.

NOTHING BUT METAAAAAAAAAAAAL!

If you're curious which songs do not export, this Wikipedia page has the scoop:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_in_Guitar_Hero:_Metallica

I'm pretty sure I had been made aware of this before, but there are 4 Metallica songs that do not export but are available as part of a track pack. Yeah, a track pack of songs already available on the GHM disc. That's total bullshit right there.

@darkinchworm Wait wait, no, those are songs that were exclusively on the PS2 and Wii discs and available as part of the Death Magnetic DLC package that has been available for 360 and PS3 since the dawn of time. Makes a little more sense now. I've been out of the loop for a whiiile.

It's too bad that GH Metallica killed the rest of the planned Metallica DLC for Rock Band. I hope that's not a long term exclusivity.

You don't have to pay if you already imported the songs into other GH games. It's pretty much DLC. It will be ported to the next GH after WoR.
