The PSN version of Worms 2: Armageddon will also offer 27 Trophies to collect and Sony-specific hats for the little warriors. Unlockable helmets include: Sackboy-, Motorstorm-, Lemmings-, Buzz- and Helghast-themed variants. With all those Worms on the field wearing Helghast masks, we guess it'll be *puts on glasses* ... a Killzone. Yeeeaaahhhhhhhh.

Worms games are a lot of fun until you get in a multiplayer game with that guy who can do anything he wants with the ninja rope. Somehow I could never get that damn rope to do what I wanted it to. :(

Yeah, I've always felt that playing with someone who's mastered the rope more or less breaks the core gameplay, considering it practically acts as a teleport that doesn't end your turn. I haven't let it get me down on the series yet though. I specifically always play Pro match types since they start you off with only 2 ropes, and number of swings is capped at 3.

Why would they release Worms 2: Armaggedon when there's this all new Worms Reloaded, which was released less than a month ago, and it's supposed to have everything from Armaggedon + a bunch of new stuff?

It's kind of a jumbled mess to explain, but here goes:
Worms 2: Armageddon is the sequel to the XBLA game that was just called Worms--it's not a sequel to Worms Armageddon. Worms Reloaded is the PC version of W2:A, which has a handful of extras like new hats, etc., but also stuff like a map editor which is PC exclusive for obvious reasons. Though W2:A for PSN has its exclusive additions as well.
So in summary, W2:A and WR are essentially the same game, with the only exception being some platform exclusives. Though unless you're a console-exclusive gamer, Reloaded is probably the best one to get, but not by too much.

Worms is one of my very favorite franchises. I have bought every version pretty much on day one, but I will have to wait for this one, as I will be busy for the next week or so with Reach.

If I have the other worms game that was released on PSN, is it worth getting this one as well?
