@LightAce You really don't, since this is a new version of the game.

If you want 'Dreamcast Radiant Silvergun', you're still going to have to fork over the Bennies.

@Madgame

Then again, I remember when Valkyrie Profile I went to PSP and the Playstation copies didn't fall in value at all. Or is it different now?

This is AWESOME news indeed!

I would also hope one day that Zero Gunner 2 might be added to XBL (I know it is not as popular as Radiant but it would be AWESOME as well)

Question....is it the arcade version or the Saturn version with added anime scenes?

This won't make or break for me.

Hell. YES!!!

Having most likely been one of the few people on here who has played this masterpiece, the chance to finally own it without shelling out a couple hundred dollars is making me salivate profusely.

I'm not much of a fan of shmups but this news fills me with hope that one day, all the rare, expensive and awesome Saturn games will finally be available for download.

Oh God... it's getting so hard to resist buying a 360 now :(

You Xbox guys are getting so many insane exclusives. I'm a total Dreamcast/Saturn junkie, so I guess I'm gonna have to betray my fanboy allegiance and buy that damn console. There are so just so many good XBLA titles.

Who thought I would end up buying a 360 for downloable games... Damn you Treasure !!!!!!!!

I don't think I even really cared about shooters until I played Radiant Silvergun. The gameplay is complex, challenging, and simply perfect, and thanks to creative art direction and an epic Hitoshi Sakimoto soundtrack, it manages to be stunningly atmospheric. In a genre that isn't above reusing bosses, Silvergun barely even reuses normal enemies. There's a staggering amount of variety packed into a game that takes at most 40 minutes to complete.

I won't be playing this release (as I don't have a 360), but I'm so happy for all of you who finally get to experience one of the best games I have ever played.

@Madgame PSP port of VP isn't exactly great, though. If they put this together well (and I am confident they will), the prices will definitely drop.
