woo hooo Hugo! we share the same name! Did anybody else see "The New Man in Charge"? It was weak in my opinion. I thought we were gonna see some Walt answers.
on topic, i read some pretty bad reviews for this album. We need "the blue album" Weezer again.

@PR0F3TA Rather than just going by a review, I would actually listen to the album before judging it. I agree it isn't as good as the blue album, but I thought it was a good album in its own right.

Actually, the exact opposite. I think this is the best album since Maladroit.
Memories is actually the weakest song on it in my opinion, songs like Unspoken, Run Away, Brave New World, I Wanna Be Something, Time Flies, and Ruling Me are much stronger.
I think this is Weezer's best effort in years. I think people just admit that Rivers Cuomo has a much different life than he did back in Blue and Pinkerton days. How is he gonna write a serious song about heartbreak if he has had a wife and kids for years now?
Compared to Raditude, Hurley is almost as good as sex.

Justin's auto-tuned song is way better than this was.

Why is GiantBomb.com's Ryan Davis on the cover of the new Weezer album?

I don't really enjoy the musical samplings of Weezer, but their cover art for this album is possibly the greatest album cover of all time.
