PSN comes Under Siege in November [update]

While this post is here primarily to inform you that Seed Studios has announced that its Move-supported fantasy RTS, Under Siege, will hit PSN on November 3, I must confess I had ulterior motives in writing it. It seems that my Joystiq compatriots have missed every single opportunity to use Under Siege news as an excuse to post a Steven Seagal joke. That oversight has now been rectified.

Update: Seed Studios has informed Joystiq that the release date has shifted to a more nebulous "November." The real purpose of this post still stands.

Best Seagal movie evar. And I'd let Erika Eleniak eat my face.

I hope that Joystiq has a long and prosperous lifespan and a career that continues to have multiple journalistic achievements...

...but this is the best damn post I have ever and will ever read.

Seagal's most recent movies have gotten better, but there were a bunch
of them that weren't very good, at least when compared to his earlier
work. One thing that hurt them was funny camera shots and visual
techniques.

I heard if the game does well, a sequel will be made. It'll be called Under Siege 2: into the Dark Territory. The difference between this and the sequel is that the sequel will take place in modern time and your CO (commanding officer) who will be name Commander Ryback. I heard Commander Ryback will be voice by Steven Segal.

... So where is the Steve Seagal joke? Is it the movie poster?

I'm out of it right now, so unless its blatant, I'm gona miss it.
