A lot happened at the Tokyo Game Show this week, like,
alot-alot. Most of the big news came from
Capcom and
EA. Feel free to peruse, we'll be adding more over the weekend. So, what's everyone playing this weekend?
- Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Playing more Civilization 5. Also, getting a new Xbox 360 mic (mine died on Reach launch day), so I hope to get in some Firefight this weekend.
- Andrew Yoon (@scxzor): [Spawning on some bros Tokyo style]
- Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): I'd be straight lying if I said I'd be playing anything other than Halo: Reach. Gotta get them credz, dawg.
- Chris Buffa (@ChrisBuffa): Will hopefully start playing Halo: Reach. Sunday's football day, so I plan to spend it on the couch working on the supreme Joystiq database. You know, since I have at least ten hours of NFL football ahead of me.
- Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): [Some clean-up work for Section 9]
- David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): Our own Mike Schramm is visiting me in San Francisco, so we'll be hanging in the city, playing "How Much Awesome Stuff Can We Fit Into a Weekend?"
- Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): I'll be hitting up the daily challenges in Halo: Reach, as I imagine I will be for every concurrent weekend thereafter. Also trying to pound through Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep -- wish me luck on that front.
- James Ransom-Wiley: Payyyyperr chaaseee.
- JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'm playing The Typing of the Sleepy as I distill TGS into convenient word form.
- Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): Much like my man James, I'm gonna be on that Halo: Reach payyypeerr chaassee. You know what's up.
- Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): [Doing Akira motorcycle stunts in Tokyo]
- Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I am obsessed with Pocket Frogs for the iPhone this week -- I can't get enough of collecting and breeding these cute little virtual frogs. So I'll be playing that on my trip to San Fran this weekend to see Misters Hinkle and Nelson, as well as whatever Dave has in his apartment.
- Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin) I'm going to play some Firefight with Mike and Dave. Mike's not bringing his 360 to the Bay Area, so we're going to have to use real fire.
- Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) Hacking up zombies in Fortune City, shooting up Covenant fools on Reach and ... Metroid: Other M maybe?
