1. Trials HD
2. Limbo
3. Shadow Complex

Those are the titles I wish would come to PSN at some point. :)

None of those games are ever going the ps3, MS published them all.

@Shawnzee; Microsoft also published Braid and Castle Crashers, jsyk. I'd say LIMBO has the biggest chance at releasing on PSN of the three, with Shadow Complex having the least and Trials HD most likely seeing a PSN release as a sequel.

@Haelie

You're wrong, Braid and Castle Crashers did not have an official publisher, they were distributed through xbox live, so MS puts its self down as the publisher but shadow complex, limbo, and trials were funded by MS, so no, they will not be ported to psn. A trial sequel might.

Where did you hear or read that the game was "funded" by Microsoft thus leading to contractual obligation for exclusive rights to publish? If you read at the bottom of this page. . . http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/063/063756.html you'll see that Playdead is the publisher.

Also, Castle Crashers publisher and was never published under Microsoft. Look at the bottom of this Castle Crashers page: http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/844/844289.html
It clearly states that the game was published by The Behemoth.

I could post more facts, but it's already clear that you just HOPE these games don't go to the PS3. Pretty pathetic really.

@Shawnzee Playdead funded LIMBO out of their own pocket. Microsoft was the first party publisher.

I would kind of consider Shadow Complex a highly visible IP, because when CliffyB announced it at E3 you could tell that was to feed off of the GoW fame. Also I think shadow complex is one of the best XBLA games.

I've spent more time with Monday Night Combat than any of them. A gem of a team based multiplayer shooter. Would love to see it expanded.

I'd rather pay $15 for a downloadable game that lasts a few hours than $60 for a retail game that might offer an hour or two more.

I'd rather just play a good game than bitch about 15 dollars.

indeed. if it's a lasting, memorable experience, one that lingers long after its 3-4 hour length, i'll be more than happy to give XBLA developers my $15.

I wouldn't underestimate how much Limbo's spot as the first Summer of Arcade title had to do with its success. I went into SoA thinking I would buy one game. When Limbo came right out of the box with great critical reception, I spent my money right there. And while I was interested in the other titles, I didn't buy them because I'd already gotten Limbo.

Still though, the title deserves every bit of its success and more. I sincerely hope it brings "games as art" just a bit more to the forefront.

Limbo is definitely a good game. But Monday Night Combat was the best of the Summer Arcade 2010 titles

I totally agree. We need more love for Monday Night Combat. After being addicted to this for like a month now, I would gladly pay 60 for a sequel.

Agreed. Lara Croft might have been the best title if they had that pesky co-op patch in from the beginning.

It is interesting. Especially with the Dead Rising 2 thingo. Its $5, offers more than other XBLA games, yet I still feel its a demo.

It'd be better if it were all free. I think I'll write them a letter...

That's really impressive. Limbo is one of my favorite games this year so I'm glad it's getting recognition.

Honestly, though, I'm shocked by this news. That's a pretty massive leap forward for indie game developers and art games everywhere.

@Chazzr; Do you buy Blu-rays/DVDs? $20 for an, on average, 90-120 minute film you might watch once a year, if that. $15 for a brilliant 4-6 hour game is a bargain.

I don't get the Limbo hype at ALL. I felt like the first section of the game lied to me. It was tricking me into thinking there was more to the world and the story than there really was. It just ended up being a decent platformer with average puzzles.

GOTY is nothing short of a joke. Nothing about that game deserves that kind of recognition. But the games community is awful about that sort of thing, anyways. EVERYTHING IS BLACK! SO COOL! GOTY!

GOTY? It's good and all, but you have to admit it tapers off in the second half, and like it or not it's incredibly short length is a problem. Maybe in a top 10, but by year's end even that is a stretch.

GOTY?! F that!

Give that distinction to Space Marine 45: The Fall of the Universe, or Gangster 69: I Never Loved My Wife, Tough Guy Macho Dude 23: I'm Afraid of Spiders, and War 144: We Lasted Longer Than The Actual War.

Limbo is one of those games that grabs at you because it is so unique, but when you look past that special effect you realize there isn't much there. I honestly don't see how this even breaks the top ten for GotY.

If it does get onto the top ten then memo to developers: style matters, just put a cool visual effect over a standard platformer and cash in.

Limbo bored me in the few short minutes of the demo, but I've never been a huge fan of puzzle games. Where's all the DeathSpank love?! Not only was it fantastic, but a heck of a lot more bang for your buck than the oh-so-short Limbo.

I want to get Monday Night Combat, but sadly it'll have to wait. By the time I pick it up, there probably won't be much of a community left...
