@pButter

It seems you're to lazy in general to care about grammar. I'll call you captain fragment from now on and also insult your double word typo for the win.

@mistahnuff I chuckle to myself every time I see someone with a less than perfect comment call out someone else for spelling, grammar or proofreading mistakes.

Spoken like a true ignorant, pButter. Well played sir, well played.

Does it make me dyslexic or something that it took me like 4-5 times of reading his comment to even notice the double word?.. lol
Also to the people correcting... too* :-P

I don't understand why they don't release legitimate patch notes rather than summaries, especially now that it's obviously completed.

What are you talking about. The legitmate patch notes for the balance changed and such are on the Blizzard website.

Those are only a summary of the patch notes, the full details aren't provided until the actual update goes live.

Because people make an uproar before they even try the changes, best to just release it when patch is out so they can actually test the changes and not theorize.

That's what internal testing is for...
And Blizzard is a smart enough company to know that they're never going to please everyone.

@Leon Trotsky TDA

it's hard to do internal testing for a game with almost infinite strats and millions of players.

The pic should have been a queen trying to desperately fend off a reaper rush.

Nah, you can easily see that by simply playing zerg online.
(As random, I hate and love reaper rushes >.>)

And I shall miss my ability to defend against 6 pull as protoss or to mass produce from 4 gates and win sometimes.

Maintenance period, what is this WoW? I don't remember SC1's patches having a downtime for Battlenet.

@RogueJedi86 SC didn't have nearly the database that SC2 has to maintain.

In this patch:

Marine/Maurader/Medivac still strong, becomes primary Terran play against Zerg and Terran. Switch to Marine/Siege/Medivac against Protoss due to...

Zealots redundant in early game. Protoss required to block in the early game. Will be hard to counter zergling rushes. Game otherwise does not change other than building more Immortals and Collosus and fewer HT's.

Zerg kind of sucks still. A lack of bonus damage to X unit on their units make them unable to counter specific styles of play.

That's nice and all, but what I'm really interested in are the promised improvements to the abysmal custom game experience. Can't wait to see 'em in action Tuesday.

I just hope they fix the damn crashing issues.

I have yet to play a game longer than 10 minutes without my PC locking up, or blue screening. I've done the framerate fix, and yes, I've updated all my drivers.

For me, the game is still pretty much unplayable, no matter what the settings are.
