Signal Studios has announced that the final DLC expansion for its successful XBLA strategy title, Toy Soldiers, will launch next Wednesday, September 29. The pack, titled "Invasion," will add a new, three-level mini-campaign, 50 Gamerscore worth of new Achievements, some additional enemy units and new driveable vehicles -- most of which are based around the main campaign's alien invasion motif.

I love Love LOVE this games aesthetic, but it's just not my type of game. This DLC looks really neat, but alas, I don't think I can warrant giving them more money just to look at the beautiful style. I really do wish I found the game more fun to play.

Wow, never thought Bothell would get any kind of recognition, least of all gaming-wise.
Also, it's Toy Soldiers. Meh.

Those five tanks in the image look like a variant of the Daleks.

DLC for a downloadable arcade game is just silly.

Such a great game, I'll definitely buy the DLC. One of the best on XBLA, and contender for my GOTY so far. Can't wait to see what they come out with next.

I've had the demo to this since it came out, but haven't bought it yet. Have had way to big of a backlog of games, though the time I spent with the demo definitely convinced me it was worth playing...just not right now.
Unfortunately, with the holiday season coming up quickly, I'm afraid this and a bunch of other XBLA arcade games are going to have to wait until next year.

Like the demo, but I have to admit that I wasn't sure if there would be enough in it to warrent a purchase. Didn't even know they had an add-on prior to this, though.

I would've played this game a lot more if the multiplayer wasn't severely broken. Not once did I finish a game, it'd just disconnect. Anyone know if this was fixed?
