EyePet PlayStation Move bundle at Toys R Us
47
Sony's virtual Monchichi will be available at Toys R Us in a Move EyePet Bundle. The $100 kit includes fuzzy companion simulator EyePet, a PlayStation Eye Camera and PlayStation Move Motion Controller. The bundle will be available in TRU stores and online starting September 24.
Also, if you've got the cash to burn, remember that EyePet also supports 3D -- and assists in the war against puppies.

You know i really hope they do bundles for Socom 4 and/or Killzone 3.
You know for the people who don't want sports or pets.
I want to get a move but at the moment no games interest me besides
RE5 and Heavy Rain yet I already beat both of those games and have put a lot of time in them

I hope so ,i'm kinda expecting it.
Sure sony wants to get this in as many hands as possible.
And we all know sony doesn't mind bundles just look at the PSP.

I thought that too, and already beat both of those... but i ended up getting it anyway. It was a great decision - I love SC way more than I thought I would. And some of the other games/demos - Tumble, Time Crisis, The Shoot etc, are also a blast. Absolutely psyched for when the lineup catches up - Socom 4!

You know I was thinking that some developer somewhere could make the move totally awesome with some sweet double move controller FPS's --- then i saw that the move has no joystick on it, only the nav controller.
And i was disappointed. Maybe SOCOM will show us what we can expect?

Timecrisis my dear friend, Timecrisis, you don't need nav con because its on-rails, so follow your duel wielding dreams :D

Nice bundle for the kiddies.
Sony should make a Time Crisis bundle. Game and shooting attachment for $60.

While EyePet isn't for me, the technology is quite impressive. Start the Party surprised me, too. Augmented reality in conjunction with the Move impressed me.

It is very grainy, as are most images captured with it. Even in video chat, its terrible, then again, its always been that way.
You'd think with these super speeds that most people are on (myself 50mb), then we could actually have an almost hd viable video feed!
Maybe thats the next eye.... EyeHD.
But, so longs move works fine in grain, as it does, then I am happy with it.

I think video chat is far from terrible. Video quality is meh, but it is definitely passable. My parents and I both picked up move bundles last week and it's very convenient to video conference from couch to couch with a click of a button. We skype a lot but this was far better, as I could see everyone in the room, including my dogs! That really increased the value of this bundle for me.

It is only super grainy in low lighting. In good/bright lighting the picture quality is pretty good. I speak from EyePet experience.
...yeah thats right... I'm a man and I've played it...

@golfs4panzys -- Exactly what you said.. Not sure how it works but the darker the room the grainer the picture.. darkness == a very speckled picture.

It's got everything to do with light quality in the room. If you really want this camera to show you video feedback beautifully, you gotta get good lighting.
Me, I really don't even like the PS2 Eyetoy style games, where you play in a mirror with an image pasted over you. The Move and the Wiimote are more fun!

I'm not sure about this one, its a tie, a smiling tiger trying to get out of the box is also quite scary, I can see people turning the box over to hide its face, only to find that there is another smiling tiger on the back, or worse, the tiger's arse.
That tiger is like the ring, stay in the box dammit, don't you dare come out!

Yeah I played the demo on the disc bundled with the move... It's definitely made for little kids.
Now if they released a patch where adding water and feeding him after midnight made things go batshit, well that would be awesome.

@Raffi256 You clearly missed the part where this was exclusive to Toys R Us.. y'know small children and families. This is the kind of game they eat up for X-mas.
You can't judge TRU's video game sales potential like other stores. They sell out of Bakugan and Littlest Pet Shop games while they are forced to markdown Bioshock, HALO, and Arkham Asylum special editions.

Sports Champion ain't that bad though. I had fun with it. If only Sony didn't screw the early adopters with the camera, I would have been happy. Move + Game = $90. Bundle = $100 with camera and a demo.

THANK YOU.

A lot of PS3 owners invested in the Eye already. I think Sony expects almost all of them to get a Move (reasonable assumption, we're already suffering a sunk cost). But I hope there's a Move+nav+game bundle. Or Move+game bundle.
right now, I suspect I'm going to buy the game used and get the Move on its own.
