Dead Rising 2 launch trailer shows 'creativity kills'

Ah, duct tape. So versatile. In fact, so important that the United States government has it listed as an official item in the basic emergency supply kit. Dead Rising 2's Chuck Greene was prepared, as evidenced by this launch trailer for the zom-pocalypse action game.

I didn't get around to the first one when I had my 360, so I'm glad it's coming to PS3 and I'll more than likely check it out.

@Voshempa I would love for PS3 gamers to get this game. If they liked a masochistically hard game like Demon's Souls, they should really appreciate Dead Rising and it's impossibility of playing correctly the first time through.

I played this yesterday and it was so boring, no advances to the the controls which are exactly the same from dead rising 1 which I actually liked.

If the controls in the first worked well AND you liked them, then why are you complaining?

Anyone else notice that the graphics look terrible, as in last-gen in this trailer?
And I've been looking forward to this game :(

@GleepGlop No I agree about the graphics. I was really looking forward to mauling zombies, but after seeing a lot of gameplay footage I'm thinking I can wait until it's on sale in a few months. They better hope the zombie DLC for Red Dead Redemption doesn't fill people's zombie-mauling needs or this game will be obsolete.

I am looking forward to DR2, it will probably be a day one purchase for me, but I am a little disappointed at the overall look. I wouldn't go as far as to say last-gen, but the graphics don't really seem to show the four year gap between the original and the sequel. They're better than DR1, but not by much.

Absolutely awful game, fun for 5 mins not to mention a cut scene every 3 seconds. Not even worth the blank disc..

@commonbredtrigger You're dumb. The game is much deeper than you're realizing...because well, you're dumb.

As excited as I am for this game, I am haunted by the fear that I know to actually be a truth, that getting katie zombrex every 12 hours is going to be a million times worse than Otis. As evil as it might be, I hope we can just let her die and go about our zombie killing business
