I was quite skeptical of this game at first, but the more I watch it, the more I like. It's definitely not going to be as revolutionary as the first, but it does look like it'll be the ideal Wii shooter*, which is good because the Wii needs more of those.

The only thing that's gonna hold this game back is that it's for Wii. Maybe it's because I dont own a Wii I feel like I graduated to 360 and PS3. Imagine 4 split-screen multiplayer and all the quadrants are in HD?
and then all my xbl friends?
:( I gotta get my mind onto something happier.

Don't know about the whole "graduated" thing, but I sort of agree. If this were online with the 360 it would be worlds better. Plus, yeah, having an HD screen split into quadrants for local MP is much, much better than splitting an SD screen. Really, neither of those points are up for debate.

Never a good sign when one of the selling points is "Over 200 different game combinations!"...
Reminds me (to a lesser extent, obviously) of Ninja Reflex where you had over 25 000 possible combinations as your "ninja name". Well tie me up and call me Shirley! I'll take two! (that's over 50 000 names fyi. Yup.)

I thought all of the different gameplay combinations were one of the big selling points for Halo: Reach's multiplayer.

I might be wrong, as I didn't really check a lot of things about this, but it just seems that if you have over 200 combinations, they must not be that different one from another.
Playing in a certain mode and having different weapon limitations isn't a different game mode to me (although it is fun. I remember in goldeneye and perfect dark, I would always choose wacky weapon combinations)
...
I don't know if I'm really communicating what I'm thinking.... oh well. lol

I never understood the arguments against replacing Pierce Brosnan's avatar with Daniel Craig's "because Daniel Craig wasn't in the Goldeneye movie". Neither were Oddjob or Jaws or any of the other multiplayer characters, but they get a pass? This game will be great.

People hate Daniel Craig as Bond.
I kinda' have to agree with them. I wanted to watch a Bond movie, not a poker movie.

Well, the Wii won't go away until the next Wii comes out and dominates everyone again.
