@Faenix I just bought Residen Evil for $.99, and I also don't have an iOS device. Although I will be buying an iPod touch so I can install Whistle and get free calls from my mother that lives half the world away.

@Night Elve

If the free version is any indication, I would stay far away from Mega Man II. It controls just like you'd imagine on a touchscreen.

...then again I haven't played it since it came out so perhaps the controls have been tweaked.

@Night Elve

i own Mega Man 2 on the iOS and i can say the touch buttons take getting used to but its definitely playable, if you play on hard you will be even more frustrated though

i'm going to get both Dark Void and Resident Evil

@NaeemTHM I disagree. I've had Megaman II for a while now (bought it on sale a few months ago) and I've played, and beaten it, a few times without any control problems. I think it works very well.

@EndynOmni

You're probably never going to see this but I just wanted to say you were right! I tried the game again and it definitely controls a LOT better. They fixed the jumping and D-Pad.

Bought it right away.

Cool, may as well pick up Resident Evil 4. As for Mega Man 2, I don't have any problem with the controls. You just have to get used to it. The controls in Resident Evil seem more difficult to me.

I'm lonely Capcom. Care to come over to the dark side?

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga Sorry clicked return before I could add ":)". Like my Xbox, love Halo and Gears, but I hate MS and their business practices.

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga

I think he's referring to his username, "HTCEVO"... which would indicate he wants them to come to Android. So it's the Goole Empire, not MS.

@Vidikron Thank you, I used to be into cellphones, but with $25 a month for unlimited text, data, and 300 mins. from Virgin I just stopped looking at other phones.

I actually really enjoy the 1942 game but I know I may be in the minority on that one. it is a fun shooter but stick to the touch controls over the tilt.

A little late on the update here Joystiq. Capcom announced this 2 days ago or so on their blog.

I hope this article doesn't attract overzealous Apple fanatics claiming traditional handhelds are dead because the iPhone (and iPod touch) are "gaming devices." ::sigh:: That being said, it's a few dollars more but if you haven't tried Crimson Gem Saga on PSP, it's a great RPG to have on your itouch. I'm enjoying it.

Wow, I didn't know that the iPhone has a 2.5Ghz Pentium 4 processor to play Dark Void: Zero with. (sarcasm)

This sale is definitely high-value for dollar - for the consumer, if I had an iPhone I would be buying all of them (well maybe the 1st four).

I wonder if Capcom is doing this after realising how much money they can make selling things cheap, after selling Dead Rising 2 XBLA.
