I've been waiting the arrival of a 1st party Wiimote with motion plus built in. This levels the playing field back with Move now.

Do you really believe that? It'll take a lot more than that to level the Wii and Wii motion Plus with the PS3 and Move.

Move needs to display more than tech specs
Sports Champions is FTL and Motion Plus being a separate accessory was really the only hurdle.

Are you serious? Have you even USED a Move? First off, it's much more accurate than my Wii (with motion plus) was at any point, and on top of that.. did you happen to forget that the graphics between the two might be a bit different? And with that added horsepower means more accurate physics as well. Try Tumble sometime. It's absolutely amazing in that regard.

Where do assholes like come from? Can we spray for the future to prevent more?

Seriously, to call Sports Champions bad is just bias. It's like a Sony fan saying Other M is crap. It's a fantastic game, and a heck of a lot of fun. God knows how long I've played the gladiator game alone, and I haven't smiled that big and had such a thrill with motion control since 6 months after the Wii launched.

Grow up.

One thing I've got against the Move so far is the pointing. Feels a bit off.
The Wiimote doesn't point exactly at the spot you're pointing at the screen, but it goes smoothly (unless you're too far from the sensor bar). I'm just curious how the motion+ will affect FPS Wii games.

Other than that, Move's darn good. ...I still like Miis though.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. The archery in Sports Champions is way better than that of Sports Resorts and the table tennis is Sports Champions is probably the most fun i've had with a motion controller.

And yes, i have both so this is coming from someone who has played (and loved) Sports Resorts with the motion plus. I also have Red Steel 2 which uses Wii motion plus and that is staill far from true 1:1 motion controls.

Oh, so you mean the controller they should have packed in with the Wii in the first place? Awesome. Thanks, Nintendo. You done did it.

Sure hope all those millions you made selling the inaccurate and crappy Wii remotes and stupid motion plus add-ons made you enough to finally be able to build a proper controller that will actually work if the window is open on a sunny day. You pricks.

*sigh* Nintendo can never win. Even after they release an improvement over something (and in this case, go through the trouble of explaining why the tech wasn't possible in the beginning), they almost inevitably get the same two responses: Either "they're gouging us of our money" (DS) or "they should've done this a long time ago" (Wii MotionPlus).

Very true.
Except for one thing: Nintendo won with money a long time ago.
At this point, you'd wonder if Nintendo cares about people's opinions anymore... apparently their opinions didn't help them earn this kind of money (many opinions were "Nintendo should do this, and THEN I'd totally buy their product" - Nintendo does it - then "Well... maybe if they did THIS, THEN I'd buy it... I don't have money right now actually.").

@Mr Fister nintendo is full of bullogna your telling me we can make a particle accelerator that can well its ovious (im 11 half the adults i know cant tell me what that is so...) but you cant put a motion plus in a wii remote 3..4 years before you do AND third party companies figure it out before you thats lame as a m atter of fact i think nintendo copied them

I played with the Move for the first time last night. I'm a bit of an Xbox fanboy, but I must say that Move was pretty damn awesome. I don't see many reasons to play a Wii anymore with the Move available now.

Sorry for trolling.

Not trolling at all, you're just being honest with your opinion.

I do think the Move is a bit of a shameless rip off the wiimote, especially when both Sony and Microsoft scoffed at motion controls early on, but leave it to Sony to actually make a very good, arguably better, control scheme.

But if the wii has shown us anything, it's that software moves hardware, and the first party stuff for the wii has been solid.

So that brings the grand total of motion-plus enabled games to what, 5 now? Boy am I glad I ran out and picked up 2 MPs when they came out a year ago, thinking they might make games that actually used them! Money well spent!

I'd be interested to get 4 Wii Remote Pluses, that way I don't have to keep track of 4 Wii Motion Pluses and 4 Wiimotes. (I will get 3 nunchuks too, I just want 4 Wii Remote Pluses, and at least 1 of them in white, so I can replace my current white Wiimote). Please, Nintendo, I'd love to have that so I don't have to keep track of 4 tiny WMP devices.

What sucks is that I have 4 motion pluses and 4 regular Wiimotes.

There's no way I'm going to buy any of these unless something crazy happens to all of my Wiimotes.

This is exactly why I waited before getting the Wii Motion Plus. I might get one of these if there are some more games that use it, or I may wait for the next inevitable upgrade, or the Next Inevitable Upgrade Plus. :P

What happens if you attach a Wii Motion Plus to a Wii Remote Plus?

Will you get 2:1 movement? WILL IT PREDICT YOUR MOVES?!

Seeing how Nintendo successfully mass marketed the Motion Plus into many consumers' hands (something they rarely follow up on after they released an accessory), I am still amazed at how little effort they give to make Motion Plus games.

Why give the effort to sell so many Motion Plus, even stop selling the Motion-Plus-Les regular Wiimote, when you don't make many games for it. It should be a standard for all Wii games already. I think the % of people who owns the Motion Plus is more than the people who don't own it now.

I think they were kind of waiting on 3rd parties to do something with the Motion+... like the Balance Board.
They themselves have actually done a good amount themselves (release games), they were just hoping the 3rd parties would continue the roll themselves.

Nintendo's rarely been the type to pay 3rd parties to make games for them (unless it's a sure-fire money-maker... Mario Party), they mostly just made the consoles and waited for others to fill up its libraries.

Probably an announcement they're going to make on the 29th, given that they're basically renting out a good bit of the venue TGS used for this.
