As much as I liked the original game, I thought the Signal was such a disappointing dlc since it did not really advance the story at all and most of the maps were recycled from the original game. Also, no daytime sequence which I really liked in the original game..
I know that one was free, so I'm not sure if I should be complaining, but if this one is just part 2 to Signal, I'm not really all that excited. Then again, the price on this one is rather low..

@Arkard Considering the first one was free and this is on $7.00 that makes them $3.50 a piece. Not to shabby!

I for one will be sad that this is the last dlc for Wake. For me, Alan Wake has been the best gaming experience in a long time. I always played it at night with all the lights off, and using headphones made the sound much more immersive. It has such a creepy atmosphere.

I love this game so much ! Unfortually they realease date suck.
The game was launch the same day of RDR.
First DLC the same day of Starcraft 2.
And this one the same day of Medal of Honor.
I hope they will enough people to buy it, because i want Alan Wake 2 !

Kind of wished (and still hope) they put together a complete bundle for the holiday season and re-market the crap out of it. Would hate to see it not get he sales numbers it deserved. But hey Dead Space did well in the long run.

I am happy this is coming out soon, it looks like it will be an incredible experience, but I am sad it could be the last time I play through a new adventure with Mr. Wake.

@Ryuk ...It doesn't have shooting at other men & tea bagging them while they're down.. perhaps.. some people can't buy a game if it doesn't have multiplayer..
Being it was purely single player is part of why I took a chance with it, although I love Gears/Halo/Uncharted, I bought them for solo play (and occassional co-op).. MP modes are really short lived for me. they never out last one run through the campaign..

I got AW new for $30, so I don't mind the extra $7. I didn't care for The Signal's story (or lack of) and the difficulty was irritating. The Writer looks a lot better.

I have been waiting to pick this up when it went onsale or used somewhere. It sounds and looks like it was a decent game. I probably would've gotten it but at the time i had picked up RDR. Does this game have many scary moments, or times when you are literally startled? Man, i remember the first time i played Condemned i had to turn my lights on in the basement cause i started seeing things, lol.

I don't know. The game was OK but far from amazing. I think it's funny how when the PS3/X360 Prince of Persia gave you a game that you had to buy a decent ending everyone chastised Ubisoft. When Remedy does the same thing with this game it's A-OK!
