Nice, I might go pick this up.

For $30, it's worth giving a shot. I'm not too much into shooters.

MAG isn't so much a "shooter" as it is "go out and get shot by an unseen enemy"

If you're going to play MAG, be sure to stick with your squad. The whole "there is safety in numbers" concept is much more noticeable when you're operating as a group.

Also, there's always this to look forward to:

That's the advantage of having dedicated servers to host these games. I just wish that Microsoft would at least consider the option of having dedicated servers to host games. I simply think that it's an option that works out much better in terms of gameplay quality.

The biggest problem with P2P connections is that residential broadband connections are limited by their asymmetric bandwidth (if that made any sense).

@Prboi Please explain how you feel it's a "camp fest" being that it's a team objectives game? What game mode might it be that you gravitate to?

Move support for this is nice, but it needs work. It automatically centers when you aim down your ironsights. Like say you're aiming in the corner of the screen at a guy, then you look down your sight to shoot him, it aims away from him to the center. Really, really annoying.

I figured the reticule would be anchored to the screen and the move would just act like the right analog... Does it atleast give you that option?

I don't think it gives you the option, I don't have MAG but I tried it with Move at a friend's house. Which way you are facing kind of follows where you're pointing Move, like if you point to the edge of the screen you'll turn sharply, though you can adjust the sensitivity.

I have move but I'm yet to try a shooter game like MAG and RE5 for that matter (even though I got both). I heard the same concerns before, I mean, why couldn't the move crosshair act exactly as the right analog stick? By that I mean on the center of the screen.

Well, I guess is something we have to get used to, cause Socom 4 and Killzone 3 looks the same way. Come to think of, even RE4 Wii edition is like that.

I think they fixed it recently, because when I tried move with the MAG beta last monday, the iron sights weren't centered but followed your pointer.
However, it's hard as hell to get the hang of it. Really frustrating, couldn't hit anyone.

@Nintari Because Nintendo games generally continue to pull in decent numbers. MAG going greatest hits, for example, is likely to pull in more sales than it had prior.

@Barkley610 NSC? Navigation controller? You can use your Dualshock 3 in place of the navigation controller. It works pretty well on Heavy Rain.

@SurlyDuff

I play MAG just about everyday and there are usually around 4000 people on which is nice but the DLC Interdiction nobody plays which is a shame because it is very different then the standard modes.

It takes a little time to get used to it but once you get the hang of it it's pretty awesome.
