Oh no! Capcom releases Mr. Bill game for iOS

For iPhone and iPad owners who are also old, Capcom has released a new game starring the 1970s Saturday Night Live character Mr. Bill. In Mr. Bill, players guide the unlucky clay character through a series of jobs given to him by the Sluggo Employment Agency.

Two jobs are available in the initial game: human cannonball and farm hand. Capcom plans to release more levels and jobs in the future -- for free. The first update will be a zombie-themed level due on Halloween. Do zombies eat clay?

If you're at all curious about this vintage character's new adventure, Capcom has temporarily priced the game at 99 cents for the launch. The publisher didn't mention the regular price, but it's, you know, more.

In 6th grade (about eight years ago now) I dressed up as Mr. Bill for Halloween and only people's parents got it. That was also the day I understood why my mom always told me I have an old soul

I sort of do and don't. I really like Blues, Jazz, Soul and Swing, so the 1930s would have been an awesome decade to be in my 20s, but then the 1940s would have had the war so I'd probably have not made it beyond my 30s, and there'd have been no internet or gaming, so in some ways I'm glad I'm now in my 20s in this decade, though it'd be awesome if the music scene now was like the 1930s, but with internet and gaming.

Talk about striking it when the iron's hot.

So I was talking to my friends at an outdoor party. Suddenly someone spilled the wine on the table.
I then cleaned it up. I telled it was fine, it happened before. I went inside to get more paper towels. I kept cleaning. It was a little tedious after a while. I went back out and we con--MR. BILL!!!
