Seems pretty cool. Nothing will be like the original though. But that's ok.

Nintendo will never allow it. There's no point in even hoping.

Can we get Phoenix Wright going on a frivolous lawsuit against Activision that results in a settlement of making this game cross platform?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Why isn't this cross-platform? I can't imagine trying to play four player split screen in 480i on my Wii.

Thing is, I'm IMPRESSED when I play 360 and PS3 games with great graphics (unless it looks like the typical grey and brown with no personality), but I don't die when I play my Wii games. In fact, I'm perfectly fine with it. I just grumble when lazy-graphics are shoved in my face on my huge screen (blame the devs).
I have TVCR that I sometimes move my systems to (because the hdtv's literally nailed down) and my Wii games suddenly look much better and my PS3/360 games look much plainer.
I dunno about you, but it doesn't kill ME when I look at "so-so" or "meh" graphics. They're good, they're not awful. Anyone can tell when graphics are awful. Most Playstation 1's graphics are awful, many of N64's graphics are bearable. You can go back and play them and it won't hurt your eyes.
Even if you consider the 360/PS3 graphics a STANDARD now, it still wouldn't mean all games should go to them JUST BECAUSE OF GRAPHICS. You could argue adding more features (which would move the nostalgia further and further away from the original... which IS the main reason this game exists) is the reason why you want it moved to the 360/PS3. But no. You're arguing about the "out-dated" graphics. Which has never stopped any Wii player from playing with their friends. Fact is, the game's on the Wii - it CAN BE enjoyed on the Wii. Sure, it CAN BE improved in other levels if moved to the 360/PS3, but then you could say the same thing about EVERY GAME if moved to the PC and turned into an MMO!!!
It ain't always about the number of features and the graphics, otherwise PC would have won a long time ago and destroyed the consoles (and those who say it did: No it didn't, WoW won, not PC).

@blahblah55 I agree with you for the most part. Nothing about the graphics aside from the Wii's resolution bothers me though. I mean, if this game was available with Wii-level textures, lighting, etc., I'd be fine with it. I just find 4 player split screen to be an eyesore when you try to play it on a large TV with only 480i as an option. Things become blurry and jagged, and me and my friends never play for long because it's just too annoying to strain to see our own little screens. That's only 160x120 pixels for your own little section, and then blown up so it becomes an ugly blurry mess. I feel like upping the resolution to at least 720p helps with this a lot, and makes 4 player split screen games a lot more enjoyable. If Nintendo had just made the Wii capable of 720 I would be satisfied. I don't have a problem with single-player/single-screen games, just the splitscreen ones.

Legal issues make it a Wii exclusive. Nintendo still owns the rights to the concept of a Goldeneye game (Goldeneye: Rogue Agent got away with being multiplatform because it was a new story, venue, everything). Rare/Microsoft only have the rights to the level design/code/music of the Goldeneye game, and Activision has the rights to the Bond franchise itself.
If you do the math, you'll find that this is currently the only possible method of making a new Goldeneye.

I never get tired of that trailer music. I hope it's in the game somewhere.
Also, if I had friends, I would definitely have a good ol' time with this.
