Call of Duty: Black Ops teaser site now features zombies

The Call of Duty: Black Ops teaser site gknova6.com, which previously put us through a lot of puzzling for no real payoff, is much less cryptic these days. Where there used to be a tiny television set playing coded audio messages, there now are eight big screens displaying footage of zombies in military uniforms, on repeat.

Even if the Nazi Zombies content in Black Ops hadn't been revealed yesterday, we don't think we would have had much trouble figuring this one out. Unless ... the number and position of the zombies in the footage is itself some kind of code.

Actually, we don't even want to joke about that. There are Nazi zombies in Black Ops -- the end.

This is great!

While I was a major opponent to Nazi Zombies before World at War's release, I found the mode to be undeniably enjoyable!

As a matter of preference I much like the slow, shambling zombies of yesterday, as opposed to the track running infected started by Left 4 Dead.

Darn... the only reason I would buy this is for Zombies... (looks at money in his wallet). Agh..

@sith94 Yea, they should totally sell it separate for $30. There are probably a shit-ton of people that won't buy it because it is part of a game they don't want.

I'll pick it up from the bargain bin. This is the only thing that has interested me so far everything else in the game seems like MW expansion pack. I haven't seen anything that warrants $60 like CoDMW franchise has...

Wow I'm trolling for having an opinion that contradicts yours. I have CoDMW and MW2 still play MW2 rented WAW because I never seen it worth the purchase. I'm a huge fan of the CoD franchise and just because I prefer to support the games made by Infinity War over Treyarch because Infinity Wards I feel are better in quality then downrank again then. I know I'm not the only person that feels this way...

I "felt" that way before. But that was because Treyarch back them weren't committed to the Call Of Duty franchise back then. They were given the task of making a COD game on top of whatever else activision gave them to make. After WaW, Treyarch became a full time COD developer & they were given 2 years to make this game which is what Infinity Ward has. So instead of a quick COD game put together by a small team within Treyarch, the Entire team is committed to making Black Ops. So that's why I changed my opinion about Treyarch & gave them a chance with this title.

Woot! I'm famous. I can die happier now.

Now back to being stuck in my dorm on UT with this gunman situation...

I hope to god they don't over complicate it with new add ons, it was brilliant when it was simple "Board up and shoot".

Black Ops beta? Yes / No and when?

What some people dont know, is zombies has its own story, and a pretty exiting and in depth one at that, if you play throught all the hidded treats through out the different zombie maps, You too can learn that story ;)

My point being, Everyone is calling this "Nazi Zombies" when they were only called Nazi zombies cause the zombies were infact....(You guessed it) DEAD NAZI'S lol.

IMO the zombies this time arround will be American due to the hints of area 51 in the Der reise Zombie map.

What makes me think that they will sell this as an add-on and it will not come with the game? Oh right, cause this is Activision.

Of course. Which bugs me a lot how people could have so mmuch hatred for a publisher that they won't buy their games after one mishap. I mean sure, people have been boycotting COD since WaW but more people are starting to boycott it now just because it seems like the cool thing to do. People can't deny that the first 3 months that MW2 came out, nearly nobody complained about it. Now they hate the game because of the people who ruined it. It's not the game you hate, its the people who cheat that you hate.

@AutomaticClutch because left 4 dead has no strategy, its more valve late 90s-early 2000s pc controls.

This really makes me glad I pre-ordered it. I mean I knew it was inevitable but still, I LOVE TEASER SITES! I love the analysis that people do from them. I love the mystery & the anticipation that comes with it. I think devs should do this more often. It really adds to the hype to the game.

Still not completely sold. I need two things confirmed before I buy it.

1. Do not have to play through the campaign to unlock the mode.

2. This better ship with more than 1 map this time.

i would hope their aren't Nazi zombies in black ops, i mean because it's not World War II anymore, I'd rather see some Soviet zombies, maybe you can pick Carl Weathers as a character and kill Dolph Lundren as a 7' zombie mini boss lol.

in the security cameras in the teaser vid i saw some scientists as well as uniformed zombies so no not just nazis this time, i was really hopin for some vietcong zombies

people just like the easy way out of things leave it simple board and shoot i mean come on thats fun if you like to love chat with your friends why dont you zombie lovers get your skill up on multiplayer and waw was way better than cod4 and mw2 it wasnt just sit still in a corner it was run and gun much better and alot funner
