Child of Eden? Or the ability to make a pointless post to get the first post in the article?

With all the talk surrounding this in relation to Kinect, I thought it was a 360-only game. I'm delighted to be wrong. Rez is one of the most awesome, unique games I've ever played and I bet this'll be sweet too. ^_^

It's too bad Kinect doesn't work to well with this game; Child of Eden was the one game that made me have some hope for Kinect.

Should add that I'm hoping for Move support now, make it happen Q!

I dunno... they could polish up the Kinect controls to make it something special. The video makes it look pretty interesting.

Quite keen to get this in my hands.... or on my hard drive... or whatever method they're using to distribute it. Airborne virus, maybe?

This looks like a really cool use of Kinect, if it works well. But there really needs to be more great and inovative games in order for me to purchase Kinect in the first place, and I'm not talking about a wii sports nock off...

Knowing that the game plays similar, but better, than Rez with a controller is more than enough for me.

If the Kinect work in the end as well, then that's just icing on this crazy cake.

Glad it's coming to Move. I think it should control better that way since you would want precise aiming for a Rez like game. Can't wait for it!

"(and Move is still "being decided" upon, but seems unlikely)."
Sorry to piss in your ice cream, but I think this statement contradicts your hopes. At least we can still play it on PS3 with a DualShock!

I'm confused. what is this? I've seen the video before, and I don't see the point. Could someone convince me why someone would like this?

If you don't know already, you probably never will.
Download the free trial of Rez HD on XBLA to get a taste of this game's ancestry.

Can you play this game without the Kinect? If not, then I don't care, but if you can just use a controller I'll keep an eye on this game since I enjoyed Rez.

Yo this game is pure ECSTASY!

I love these games that combine amazing visuals and ace tunes. Genki Rockets I love them - found them out from No More Heroes, of course.
5.1 Surround Sound on my 46" LCD on 1080p is gonna be nuts!

The Kinect accuracy comments don't worry me that much as most games seem to get more accurate closer to launch. Plus Ludwig said he preferred playing with Kinect and I trust his opinion.

With the offhand comment made in this article I'm going to be sorely dissapointed if we don't see some form of Orchestra Hero for Kinect or Move at some stage.

Getting Kinect, but I'm still not sold on this game. If Child of Eden was a $15 XBLA game I would definitely give it a try for the Kinect controls, but at full $60 retail game price it seems laughable.

Has Ubisoft made it clear whether this will just be a downloadable game or on a disc?

@cool8man

Yes, it's definitely a retail game. If it follows Kinect pricing (despite Kinect play being optional), it'll be $50.
