@Faenix There are still folks playing it, including me. If you play the regular "Team Deathmatch"-style game mode, Sabotage, you can get into a game almost immediately. You may have to wait around for a bit on the 256-player matches, however.
Two big reasons to consider it: MAG 2.0 should get released as a free update this week, bringing a lot of new features to the game, and secondly, they have a "Double XP" Happy Hour for your first hour of play every day, so that should help you level up quickly.

Geez, I wish Nintendo would get their shit together and release some kind of "Greatest Hits" line already. It's probable that they don't NEED to, but I would totally buy Fire Emblem: RD, Mario Galaxy, and Twilight Princess again if they only cost $20.

Last year was honestly the same or worse.
Sadly, Achivements/trophies have sucked me in.. im now a whore.. so my Wii never gets played

Look at the NPD numbers; many of those titles stay in the top 20 despite a price drop (Super Mario Bros. DS? Really?) so Nintendo feels, rightly, that they don't need a price drop to keep demand high.
Waiting for a cheap version of Punch Out, myself, but I know better.

it matters the level you're at, there are level caps of who you can duel and play with, so if you're like me and went to over level 400 and something (I did that without the glitch for 1 million souls :P damn farming took forever!)
you won't really find anyone other than normal "ghosts" running around.
But if you see a lot of messages and blood spots everywhere still then lots of people are still playing it.
I remember when I got into new game + for the first time, I had 5 friggin duels one after the other and I was running out of healing crap! I wanted to quit and I couldn't! I won all of them 2 by luck and 3 by just being awesome and I was like GAH QUIT NOW BEFORE MORE JOIN! Those 2 last battles were the hard ones, they were too tense for me I had to quit before I gave myself a heart attack!

I might have to pick up MAG after a while. If I get a move controller for Christmas I would like to have at least one FPS to try it out on to see how well it works.
I know KZ3 will support it, but that doesn't come out for a while and I'm not too hyped for it anyway. I'm sure it'll be good and I'll probably at least check it out, but I'm just not very excited for it...

True story - I went to the Sony store in Square 1 a couple weeks ago. Of course I checked out the PS3 / PSP area, what did I see?
