That's $20 for the game, and $20 for the controller, per Amazon! What a bargain!

I'll take eight!

Hm... depending on the price of a Classic Controller Pro, I may get this.

I'd like to get this for the controller, but I'm not really into Monster hunter enough.

I got 2 knock offs for $30 with shipping on ebay. They work with all Wii games including emulators.

Best game on the Wii by far, and best looking. Awesome deal. If you have a wii, you should probably have this game. Just beware of losing long periods of your life to the game.

Every current-gen controller owes it's life to the SNES controller.

What bothers me is that even though this game and controller are bundled together, the "L2" and "R2" buttons don't do anything in the game. This is despite the fact that they would be *perfect* for switching which item is currently selected. But no, to do that you have to hold a button and use Y and A to cycle through your items left and right. WTF?

Don't get me wrong, I've put over 100 hours into this game, it's still fun. But they made some seriously dumb decisions when it comes to controlling your character/camera.

When you're swimming underwater, the camera will move to whatever angle you like using the right control stick. This is expected behavior. But when you're running on dry land, the camera will only move up and down between (I think) four predetermined "heights" instead of just smoothly moving up and down. WHY?

Sorry should've specified... doesn't do anything useful.

I have never felt that I needed special buttons for vertical swimming maneuvers. If they wanted to put in surface/dive, what's wrong with up/down on the D-pad? This is assuming you're using the right stick for camera control instead of weapon controls. I still can't wrap my head around that option - your left hand is move on the stick and camera on the D-pad? Huh?

This game is seriously in need of a custom button mapping screen. Never before have I or any of my friends played a game this long, and still consistently press the wrong button and end up using a potion at full health or something like that.

Other than the control issues though, it's a fun time. We end up spending like half the game in town just messing about with the weapon upgrade system and crafting items. Well, that and doing hilarious emotes to each other.

Amazon and Newegg are on my "you can look once a week, and no more" list. If I look more often than that, I end up with a bill that makes my eyeballs pop out of their sockets.

I guess this counts as the look for the week.
