I can already see the claptraps dancing and singing to It's the end of the world as we know it.

You only got the demo? They WERE giving away the full game... I was hoping to see Square freak out at them, you know, for giving their game away a week early, and for free.

Also, weren't we supposed to get a Castlevania demo?

Isn't it on the European PSN? If so, I'm indeed surprised it didn't show this week. Hmm.

What are you talking about?
I got the demo last week through gamespot too. The offer was to download and purchase the game a week early. It said nothing about being free! That would be an act of insanity anyway.

@TheBrainninja
The Euro store is updated on a Wednesday afternoon, remember?

I googled it... you were right, they did give away the full game for about 45 minutes before realising the error.

Yup, got in during that 45 minutes or so...the code gave both the demo and unlock keys as downloads. Already played a few levels and earned a few trophies. The game is much better than Underworld, and even though it uses the same engine, looks good too.

@CrimsonRyan yea i wasn't aware of that actually i wish i did tho would have saved me $15 + my friend told me this a day before and i was like .. uh .. what the heck are you serious, but since it was only going on for like 45 Mins then i can only kick myself for that. I thought the demo was actually quite fun but i'l wait till it get's Co-op :)

I won't be buying any of these things, but it's a quality update nonetheless. Although, why are we getting Deadliest Warrior avatars? Did the game come out and I missed it? And, what's with the game videos that you need to purchase???

"And, what's with the game videos that you need to purchase???"

If you are referring to the PSP section, those last 2 entries belong under Add-ons, not Game Videos.

Gah, wish I had the leftover cash for Tomb Raider. Looks pretty sweet and I've heard good things. At the very least I get some more Borderlands goodness.

Also, DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue came out last Monday... nothin' new, there.

That would be nice. Continuing on Castlevania games, I can't believe that I've missed the sale on the two Castlevania games for PS1. They were half off and I was gonna get them tonight, but now they're gone (the sale, not the games) with this store update.

I had the whole week to get it, now if you excuse me, I'm gonna hit my head on the wall.

Actually you missed that Castlevania sale by more than this update. They were no longer on sale with last weeks update. International Track & Field replaced them as the anniversary sale last week.

Mafia 2 War Hero pack for $2.99. Within the first couple weeks of the game releasing, I saw people selling their War Hero vouchers and people were paying $15/$20. The price to pay to have something now...

just played the GOW demo. Short take. It looks graphically almost exactly the same as the last PSP GOW (Chains of Olympus). And that is pretty good. Ready at Dawn is really a great PSP studio.

They introduced a new spear and shield combo, marking the first time kratos has ever fought in a way that even resembled how true spartans of the era fought.

(to any fans of 300, you remember the part where they were a wall of shields? my understanding of that battle was it was 3 days of that, which let's face it, would have been a very boring movie.)

So joking aside it looks like chains of olympus version 2.0. Which is a very, very good thing. Let's hope that they also make the game longer to boot. i mean i loved chains of olympus, i just didn't want it to end so quickly. I think it was something like 6 hours straight through.

i will add that it looks like kratos is also going to atlantis, which explains the line from neptune about "avenging" atlantis. so why did atlantis sink into the ocean: because of kratos! It reminds me of that episode of futurama where fry asks the giant brains why the dinosaurs went extinct and they said, "because of US!!!" or something close to that.

So i am like 99.9% likely to buy this on day one. i will have to look into preorder bonuses, i guess.

Dear playstation. Give me more kratos. lots more.

I’m getting that Claptrap Revolution. Borderlands seems to be one of the only games this generation with really good dlc at a good price. At a time where companies like Activision and R* want push to see the limit of how much they can ask for with as little work as possible before the fanboys tell them to pisoff, it’s good to see that that there’s a game that offers good value dlc at a decent price. The only other game I can think of for this gen (off the top of my head) is Fallout 3 and I even skipped the Pitt and OA for that one. I really enjoyed all of the Borderlands dlc; even Moxi, which a lot of people seem to not like. I guess the one complaint is that it’s a bunch of things they should’ve included in the core game: storage locker and a place to test new guns on waves of enemies for no xp.
