Dead or Alive Dimensions' first trailer is in hot pursuit
21
No matter how many exploding bundles of wood Ayane rolls through, she just can't seem to escape Dead or Alive 1's Raidou. This first Dead or Alive Dimensions (3DS) gameplay trailer reminds us it's damn hard to shake a pursuer who's glowing red and clearly on PCP.

Looks like the same sort of fighting mechanics as Tekken. In other words, not interested. I prefer Street FIghter. I wonder if 3ds could get a blazblu title?

Seems like you've not played DOA before, it's pretty neat, specially since DOA2 , to be honest i prefer to play this than Tekken tough Tekken is more of a complete game, btw comparing this to SF is ridiculous, it's like comparing Burnout against Forza or Gran Turismo

That looks incredible. Please gimme Soul Calibur 3DS!

@Foetoid It's as incredible as DOAX Paradise for PSP. It appears to be a straight up port of DOA2. They didn't even bother changing the animation for Kasumi for the intro sequence.
In fairness, it makes more sense to have Raidou as a returning villain (he was the end boss for DOA1), since Tengu was just a bizarre choice for the series. ("Sorry Tekken fans, we're going to make the antagonist of this entry not a member of the Mishima clan. How about the boogie monster instead?")

From what I read the game will be a mashup of the first four DoA titles in terms of character roster, gameplay, and *shudder* story.

Hm, well, can't complain despite its simplicity, at least I saw gameplay :/
I want a DOA for PS3 and 360 again though :(

This is outrageous! This game features a school girl who fights with a butter knife. Clearly this is an attempt to desensitize the youth of America to violence. Think of the children!

I'm surprised at the near-absence of jigglephysics. Huh. Looks competent...I'm just glad to have another actual fighting game in the franchise, instead of more Voyeurball scheise -_-

It looks good, but they didn't have to add those cheesy Tekken effects.

didn't nintendo say that the 3ds graphics were going to be better than the gamecube graphics?

If you check all launch consoles their graphics are bad. Developers need to learn to use the console to it's fullest.
