We've been looking for a way to find that competitive edge we've been lacking while playing our favorite basketball titles -- and finally, we think we've found it. Introducing "Hoops Freek," the latest "controller adapter" from KontrolFreek, which turns your control sticks into basketballs.
These bad boys will drop October 6 with an MSRP of $9.99, which is really a pittance when you think about what you're getting for that price. Which is to say, Sneaker Snappers for your 360 or PS3 controller.

Have you Played NBA Elite Demo? Why even bother trying playing that game with these analog stick extenders? Can't people just go out and buy a Real Basketball for $10.

I bought the KontrolFreak FPS stick mods (no, they aren't guns). I was pretty skeptical but they basically just make it easier to hold one direction for a long time without your thumb getting tired or slipping off the analog stick.
I don't know if they're really worth $10 but they helped make tiny turns and steep turns in racing games noticeably easier.

I also have them. My accuracy at Modern Warfare 2 increased a lot, so they works just fine.

I think I might get these because my original controller has a half chewed off anaolog stick complements of my dog. I wonder if these will still stay on because of that.

Wow what a waste of money.

I got two of these type of things for free when I ordered a game from Gogamer and they actually work pretty well. I put them on my DS3 and and 360 controllers. Especially on the DS3, you thumb doesn't slip off as much (yeah, that sounds dirty, I know).

yea, i got free ones too. i was skeptical... but i really like them. now i have one dualshock pimped out with nubs and trigger extensions, and my other plain jane. the nubs+trigger extensions is FAR superior -- to the point that if i were sony, i'd modify the DS to match next go round.
The only problem I have is that during heavy gameplay, sometimes my left nub comes off. Read into that how you will.

They should make Catherine themed nubs. I'd buy those. I'd probably have to buy them in a 'specialty' shop or order them online though.

I am a PR rep for KontrolFreek. If you haven't seen what our products can do first-hand, we understand that you might be skeptical. Perhaps some our recent press can help convince you we are for real:
