New DSi XL colors, Wii and DS release dates, and Mario Party 2 for Europe

Official Nintendo Magazine has put together a list of upcoming European release dates for Wii and DS games. For those of you who don't want to wait for the 3DS, three new DSi XL colors (yellow, green, and blue) will be in stores on October 8. You'll be able to use that new DS for Professor Layton and the Lost Future, out October 22, Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, out November 19, and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, arriving December 10.

Wii owners in the UK can look forward to Wii Party on October 8, FlingSmash on November 19, Donkey Kong Country Returns on December 3, and in the most random announcement of the day ... Mario Party 2 on the Virtual Console some time in December. Better grab some extra Classic Controllers, because you're going to break the ones you have.

Who cares if they skipped the first Mario Party? Mario Party 2 was the best game in the series anyway.

I believe so far the black and blue one are official. I wish they also came out with the red one.

Wait a sec... I dunno how I missed it at first, but this Mario Party 2 on VC news is only for Europe? Please tell me they plan on giving it to the US too. :(

(Here I was getting all excited and didn't even notice the "for Europe" in the post title, lol.)

Is that blue one the same as our midnight blue released this summer? I wanted an XL so I picked it up and that is such a nice looking color

I prefer the sedate launch colors for the XL. In fact, I think I'll get one soon, since the 3DS won't exist to me until it's under $200.

All 3 of those colors look awful.

Ive never seen/heard of "the official nintendo magazine" but its owned by future US like nintendo power so Im guessing its the UK NP?

You change clothes in Mario Party two, depending on the level. It was like the best non-important feature.

This news only tells me that I wont be getting a 3DS until Oct 22nd when the new Prof Layton drops and the 3DS is below $200. This leaves me time to play Zelda, Mortal Kombat, Killzone 3, maybe Driver, maybe MP3, maybe LA Noire .... etc
