Zombies mosey on into Red Dead Redemption's 'Undead Nightmare' trailer

Like most issues that plagued the Wild West, the zombie situation was apparently "cured" with a bullet. See Marston take on the "Undead Nightmare" in this debut trailer for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption add-on pack.

Undead Nightmare will feature a new single-player adventure infested with -- those things are everywhere! The add-on will include new gameplay mechanics, weapons, zombie animals, "mythical creatures" and a new secret location; in addition to new multiplayer elements, including eight zombie characters. The DLC pack is expected for release this fall on PSN and Xbox Live for $9.99/800 Microsoft Points.

I agree, this update might warrant a purchase finally(instead of rental).

I will get this but I am getting burned out on everything having Zombies nowadays. What will be the next zombie phase? I personally would love to shoot up some shimmering vampires in the sun.

I have never played RDR, but im a big zombie fan (especialy W@W Zombies)

Anyone think getting RDR (mainly for this) would be a wise choice?

Getting RDR is a good idea, no matter why you're buying it.

@MrVee PSN Vampah Well, RDR is a really awesome game with a great story that will take you about 18 or more hours to finish. But multiplayer isn't enough to keep you playing for a long time after. This single player expansion probably won't be more than a few hours long, so it all depends. If you mainly want it for zombies, then you should wait for someone to review the DLC before you buy it so you know if it will be worth it or not.

RDR is a great game, no doubt. But it doesn't appeal to everybody...esp. if you don't like the slow pacing that's typically associated with Western films.

I think it'll go great with zombies though.

wow, this looks utterly amazing- i was unsure how it was gonna look when they announced it a ways back and now that the trailers out I'm extremely impressed. I mean come on, Zombie friggin' bears!?! Thats a hell yeah!

Niiiice. So they are bringing back Bonnie McFarlane, the Sheriff, and John Marston for some singleplayer zombie missions or what? Almost sounds too good to be true. Cannot wait.

Also, if everyone here loves zombies like they say they do, be sure to check out The Walking Dead on AMC when it premieres this Halloween! If the show is anything like the comic, it will be completely amazing. /plug

It's not like zombies have been a reccuring enemy in games almost since video games were created. And not like some big title made by valve was released at roughly the same time features zombies as the main driving force behind the game instead of a small CO-OP mode.

That would be plain silly!

Ahh~ "Night of the the living Dead" rises once again with all them fast moving Zombies~"Send More Cops!!!" indeed. It's the '80s all over again!

...but sadly. It is probably more like the "Dawn of the Dead" remake with grunting voiceless fast moving mobs who Aped off the Super Rabies infected LIVING mobs of "28 days" befitting the ADD prescribed audience of the '10s

I'm getting pretty tired of all the zombie stuff and I hope it starts to phase out next year, but I have to admit, this trailer pretty much won the internet.

The deal breaker for me will be if there isnt some online mode where you kill zombies with your buddies : /

how could there not be a mode like that? i remember R* saying this pack includes SP missions and MP modes, so i don't think you have anything to worry about.

I loved RDR, was epic. Haven't played it for a couple of months, but this will toss some new spark. The other DLC hasn't really appealed to me as I got turned off playing online after awhile but if this turns out to be single player and multiplayer, that's a very good thing.

I wonder how this will tie in with the main story because (SPOILER!!!) John is alive in this

Only reason I will come back to RDR. Still haven't bought the last 2 DLC cause they don't seem worth it.
