Suck it, reading: EA's Scrabble is a hit on Kindle
15
As fervent opponents of books and all they stand for, we're delighted to report the biggest thing on Amazon's Kindle e-book reader isn't a book at all, but rather EA's port of Scrabble, which is topping the paid charts. Hey, books? Just give it up already, OK? You're embarrassing yourselves.

Too bad you can't play against people over the Internet. I think I'd rather play the real board game, than pass an e-reader back and forth to play one-on-one. It makes it easier to think about your next move if you can see the board while your opponent is playing.

@Hords What they need is not even internet play, they just need turn based option where it sends the data via email. The Kindle is already email enabled. Just send it in some thing the Kindle is able to parse. This would be an easy addition, and would be great for playing with other Kindle users.

Kindle playing games is laughable, even for Scrabble.

It would be nice to get some Scrabble love on my Nook. ePub is great and all, but I have a love of the wordsmith's board game that can't be satiated.
