Housemarque's (Super Stardust HD) experiment in side-scrolling action game meets light/dark projectile absorption a la Ikaruga is a real looker. You can see just how remarkable Outland's visual style and intriguing play mechanic look in motion by rolling the following video.

Looks great. Ikaruga hack and slash, I feel I want to play it after this trailer.
One comment regarding your video player: I have a little trouble determining when HD is on, the shades of gray on the button are a little too close. I hope the "beta" tag on Joystiq means you are still working on things ;)

I know Michael Atkinson already beat me to it, but I figure this could be helpful.

Geez, what the heck is up with that enormous XBLA logo? Overcompensating much?

Art looks great, but the animations look a bit stiff. Hopefully those will get some better transitions by the time of release.

Ubisoft is on a roll with digital titles. This, From Dust, and BG&E HD ... now here's hoping we get a date and new trailer on Rayman Origins by day's end.

@Psychoplasm I also clearly don't know how difficult it is to run sewage but thank God they aren't going backwards in time...if they are gonna go backwards bring back the successful genres that went extinct like tie fighter...I side scrolled to death in the 80's and 90's...I was happy when 3D gaming arrived...now lets push forward

What @eimajtl said. Horrible voice-over.
Did anyone else think Samurai Jack-esque when first seeing it? Looks cool.
I do have hard time with games that require me to use timed color matching - I always press the wrong button.
