@Mcmax3000 Yeah, they still have. I'm trying to comment on this all over the web, because it looks like they are trying to jump out of this pan while its cold. I work in the IT scene in Porto Alegre - Brazil, where Ubisoft opened its doors for EXPERIENCED and GRADUATED developers. What they don't mention anywhere is the RIDICULOUS salaries, STUPID selection tests - what about giving you a WEEK to code a demo and telling you: "Great, congratulations! But we can only pay you with food and water!"

I'm still AMAZED on how is it possible that their operations manager is still ALIVE!

@GadiantonLawyer
We really wish that could put an end to those stupid games. But no, of course they´ll keep making the Imagine series.

@GadiantonLawyer BTW, the last title produced in Brazil could be Imagine: Brazilian Game Programmers.

Instead of making and training new people in REAL games, they force brazilian developers to make sub-products. Then they sell poorly and they close.

What's wrong with Ubisoft? Do they think here in Brazil there's only monkeys, football and pretty women? What a missed opportunity. For everyone.

@Barry Burton

Oh the ignorance...

They didn't sell poorly my dear friend, they sold A LOT...

They're closign because they had BAD MANAGEMENT, people that were in charge sucked ass and the employees started to leave the company. It's as simple as that.

@Ashkental

Well, this does not negates what i said. If the managers didn't let the team to be creative, they were not being trained properly to enter the real, competitive world of games.

And looking at vgchartz, only some of the Imagine titles sold well, probably the first ones. Do you know which ones were made here in Brazil?

@Barry Burton

only Party Manager (or something like that) and Detective

I only played the detective and it is an awesome mix of phoenix wright, professor layton, veronica mars and minigames that includes a steath one..... for young girls, but still it is incredibly polished (the 3d worldmap is impressive)

Oh God, I hated those Imagine shovelware for so long, and never tought they were progamming those sh*t right here in Brazil. Anyway, it´s sad news, we have some good people here that could help a lot the game marketing.
