Before all of you start rushing to Play.com to pre-order Vanquish based on the headline above, we should probably point out that the deal applies only to citizens of the United Kingdom. That said, yes, in addition to the Tri-Weapon Pack included with Vanquish pre-orders at Play.com, pre-order customers will also get a free copy of Platinum Games' Bayonetta.
That means, for the same £39.99 ($64) that every other game this holiday costs, Brits can snag two totally bizarro Platinum Games classics. That is, of course, if they can stop playing Just Dance for a few moments.

Is it just me or are they sliding in the same "YSHA!" position?

At first I thought "Pretty good deal!" Then I noticed it was the US. Then I remembered:
1) Bayonetta can be gotten for $20, easily.
2) This game will likely become $20 within a few months as well.

If you're planning on getting Vanquish (and you're in the UK), this is a freaking amazing deal. I've never put as much time into a third-person action game as I have with Bayonetta, and I'm still playing it from time to time.

Too bad I got Bayonetta at launch...and that I live in the US...oh wait those are both good things.

One of the best games of the year, reduced to a mere pre-order bonus.... wtf is wrong with the world?

The Vanquish demo was a pleasant surprise. I had heard only the name before but had no clue what to expect. If there is some variety to the level design this game could be a winner.

I am jealous. I've been interested in picking up Bayonetta for a while-- I just never have for some reason. Vanquish demo had some pretty awesome gameplay-- graphics were a little grainy, but the game it self was amazing!

Picked up bayonetta last month for 20 bucks new at Costco. Sure it's fun, but the story is boring. I thought this was supposed to be a gorgeous game, but a lot if the environments had terrible texturing, and everything else was nothing special.
