October. It's here. That means we're officially now in Q4 and there's a lot of games coming. There's Call of Duty: Black Ops, Fable 3, Fallout: New Vegas ... also, Enslaved, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Medal of Honor and many, many more. And here we're just talking "new" games, that's not even taking into the account things like the Dragon Age: Origins and Borderlands GOTY bundles. Trust us, whatever games you're thinking about this season, there's a couple more hidden gems you've totally forgotten about.

What's everyone playing before the gaming deluge?

Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Civilization 5 and Reach, likely. Been itching to go back and play a little Tropico 3 again.

Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Trying to figure out what went wrong with Armageddon in Darksiders, continuing to put off the Halo: Reach campaign in favor of multiplayer (I'm so ashamed!), and thinking about how stupid it is that Civ 5 isn't available through OnLive.
Chris Buffa (@ChrisBuffa): Now that I finished the Halo: Reach campaign, it's time to enjoy some Firefight. Next up ... Alan Wake, Castlevania, NBA 2K11 and Enslaved. Ah yes ... NBA Jam next week!
Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): Though I've been away for the last two weeks or so, this weekend holds little gaming time for me. So I'm up at 6am trying to finish Halo Reach!
David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'll be leading a nigh-endless train of survivors back to the safe room in Dead Rising 2 for all of that delicious, delicious PP! Yeah, I said it -- I love PP.
Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): All I seem to want to play as of late is Tomba on the PS1, which I don't own. That's weird, right? I think an outing to the local used game stores is in order.
James Ransom-Wiley: Is this the weekend I take the Minecraft plunge?
JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I'm going to finally complete Ace Attorney Investigations so I can feel okay about buying Professor Layton and the Unwound Future.

Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) Wrapping up the last chapter of Austin, Texas Vacation, which is entitled "Eat good food." Then it's time for the epilogue DLC "Get in the car and drive for eight hours." After that I might play some Metroid: Other M, but only so I can pretend it's Lords of Shadow.

Hope to be playing Okamiden tomorrow, otherwise I'm playing through my backlog starting with The Saboteur.

I'll be playing Reach as usual & maybe dive back into MW2 for kicks.

Dead Rising 2 for probably the entire weekend. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment

Renewed my WoW account, playing Reach, and waiting on my new Nintendo DS to get here. Also got 2K11 on pre-order, and Medal of Honor on pre-order.

Gonna finish San Andreas and maybe go bargain shoping at GameStop again. PS2 games are so cheap and all good ones

Civ V and Reach. Maybe finally get around to finishing Halo Wars Coop.

Got something on preorder every week this month, glad I did overtime and got a raise in Sept, trying make dents in my backlog while starting Dead Rising 2.

More Dead Rising 2 on the Triple, of course.

Other than that... blah, nothing. =/

I'm so done w/ Dead Rising 2. I dont see whats good about the game. I think I'll play Heavy Rain again but w/ Move this time.

So for October, I play on purchasing at least 4 games. I'm really forward to playing Castlevania, NBA 2K11, MoH, Time Crisis, The Fight and more. It's gonna be crazy.

Lemme know which you prefer. I got it for $40 new recently, and I'm planning on playing it while the wife and kid are out of town. Not sure if I should play it move or not for my first go-through.

What I want to be playing: Dead Rising 2, Halo Reach,

What I'll actually be playing: MW2, MGSPW, Army of Two: 40th day, and maybe some BFBC2.
oh and Rock Band 2.

Probably spending time with Just Cause 2 on PC and maybe Lara Croft & The Guardians of Light on XBLA. Like Ben Gilbert, I too am probably going to play Darksiders although I really need to play all the other games I got from this year. Bayonetta, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, No More Heroes 2, Battlefield: BC2, ModNation Racers, DQ IX, Persona 3 Portable, YS Seven, Professor Layton & The Unwound Future, etc....

I know for a fact I'm getting Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Enslaved next week even though my free time will not be there to play much of either.

Reach and Pokemon Emerald.

I just dumped 50 hours in Final Fantasy 10 (hadn't played that one since 2003). Now to play 3D Dot Game Heroes as a palette cleanser, then maybe I'll dive into Final Fantasy 13. I also need to catch up on Borderlands DLC so I can join the Robo revolution. AND...NBA Jam is closing in fast. *Sigh* I still remember that days when I bought one game, played the crap out of it, then moved on to the next one. Those were the days...

My Q4 starts on the 17th of the month with Epic Yarn, and i plan to pick up Sonic Colors, Epic Mickey, and Goldeneye at some point after that, but for now it's mostly Monster Hunter Three (i'm stuck grinding Rathalos, who i hate more than all the hatred in the world, so i'm rather off on that), and a little bit of Kirby Squeak Squad to help get me in a Kirby mood.

Sonic 4, my most anticipated game of year. Halo reach, Pokemon platinum, and definately Kirby's epic yarn.

Gonna be finishing up Professor Layton And The Unwound Future, which will most likely be my game of the year! Also might play some quick rounds of Monster Dash, while doing the classic game of "Weekend High School Homework" :(

I'm gonna try and finish up the last few achievements in Borderlands New Claptrap Robot Revolution.
And after cooking all day for a-holes (I hate being a chef) I'm gonna relax with some L4D2

Since i wont be getting Alan Wake via Gamefly this weekend (damn), and Halo reach lost its brand new feeling. i will be spending most of my time watching netflix stuff

I wish i could buy Enslaved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having a weekend off from my superhero duty, so the women of the world will remain unsatisfied.

Dead Rising 2 is on the cards I believe.

Gonna be playing the Fire Emblem for Wii for about the 15th time, some FF13, and some League of Legends

Still in FF13. Now making it through chapter 8. I'd like to finish it before moving on - However Reach is starting to glare at me and Mario Galaxy 2 is starting to cough from all the dust! Oh and Alan Wake is in the mail from a trade! Ahhh!

If I game at all, it will probably be either Marvel Ultimate alliance 2 (great party game for comic nerds) or Star Wars: the Force Unleashed (so I can pretend it's the sequel). picking up Enslaved Tuesday, which will hopefully tide me over until Force Unleashed 2, which in turn will hopefully tide me over until Christmas. or until I decide I'm bored enough with all my other games to buy Dead Rising 2 or Lords of Shadow.

Tanking through AC2.

Its 1/2 annoying and 1/2 awesome. Which will win I wonder...

@R Planteer Armored Core 2 was pretty rough. However, Assassin's Creed 2 was tit meltingly awesome. My tits are still in the melted tit burn ward. I s&*t you not...right next to Tara Reid's boo-bars. (Hers were melted from being in the big Lebowski)

Every time I see the guy from this game I think it's Jak. W.o.W this weekend and the magic art of tanking pugs.

Got some leveling up to do on Red Dead Redemption, waiting on the Undead DLC, wanna finish God Of War 3 on medium and gonna get Uncharted 2 and finish all this up before Assassins Creed: Brotherhood and Gran Turismo come in and hog my time next month : )

*I enjoyed the demo, I thought the fact it ripped off GoW was a plus.

October 7th I get Castlevania, 14th or so I get Medal of Honor, 21st or so I get Fallout.

I'll be playing more Reach until.... Tuesday? Is that the fifth? After that I'll either be playing Enslaved and Castlevania or just Enslaved.

Just started playing Borderlands again with a fellow guildy. I played 92 of the 93 or so hours previously solo. It's so much more fun playing with a friend(s). Perhaps this time I'll FINALLY get to the point of playing the Knoxx DLC, and the newly acquired Claptrap revolution one.

Oh, and some Civ 5. To be honest though, playing Civ 5 makes me wish my DVD-ROM wasn't busted so I could load up some Civ 4 Beyond the Sword. I bought the expansion, but don't recall ever playing it.

Just got all the trophies for Monkey Island 1, so I'll probably start on Monkey Island 2. I'll try to get some Halo: Reach in as well. I also want to finish up Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep this weekend.

If I get any gaming time at all, it'll be a combo of Bad Company 2 and MW2. Any free time will likely be consumed by Angry Birds or Super QuickHook. School is really messing me up though, so I doubt I'll get much gaming in. What's depressing is that I have another 8 years of school after this year is over, so... yay...

I've already finished Dead Rising 2 twice and don't have the urge to play again, for a while. Going to try to finish Ys 7 before Arcania and Basara come out.

Don't know whether to play Dead Rising 2, or play my backlog - Dead Space, Bioshock, Red Faction: Guerilla, Borderlands DLC #2 & #3, L4D2 the passing, Fallout 3, Prey & ACII DLC. I have more games to play but there boring so...

Madden 11..Probably try to finish up red dead before nba 2k11 comes out..then ima be on medal of honor till fallout new vega comes out..and thinking bout vanquish

I'm planning on catching up on PC gaming by getting a new graphics card for my (sloooow) PC. Then on to Penumbra collection, Amnesia: the dark descent, Mass Effect (in time for PS3 ME2), Cryostasis, The Path, The Witcher etc.

If anyone knows any other must-have games I've missed out on during the last 4 years or so - please speak.
