Even as a BIG fan of the game, this is INSANE. I assumed the DLC would have the level AND both the new characters... maybe it's my fault for holding unrealistic expectations, but I for one am disappointed.

Yeah, I really like this game, but five dollars for one level is way too expensive.

WTF are they thinking, how long is the regular game if you play SP with no coop? Can you even play the game without help and get to the end?

Dissapointing. The full game is 6 levels for 15.
Why not at least 2 levels, or a level and a few characters.
Lets milk it all we can though.

Can't wait to see the asking price for the characters. After this, you just KNOW they'll sell them individually.

Does this DLC actually provide any extra item drops?

If it does, I get it. I really do. It's just one level, but you're supposed to play it a bazillion times. So you supposedly get hours of gameplay for 5 bucks.

I get it, but it's bullshit. The players for this title have dropped exponentially. The freakin DLC was already finished and ready to go (it had made the torrent rounds the week the game was released) so I know they could have included this in the original download, or at least the following week when people still cared. The characters are done too.

They could've thrown their few diehards a bone and made it cheaper and more inclusive. But to keep in line with the cruelty the game's farming philosophy entails, they decided to piecemeal it AND make it too expensive.

I thought the DLC might make me turn this game on again but I think this is a big middle finger to the fans. They won't get my 5 bucks.

@MrGone1980
I agree with this. If it included the new characters and achievements it'd be a no brainer for a lot of people. This is one level, one new enemy, one new boss and that's it. So 1/11th the original game for 1/3rd the price.

Silly Koji Igarashi, trying to release DLC around the same time a GOOD Castlevania game is being released...

Could we please just get it over with, release all this nonsense DLC, and start working on a real side-scrolling castlevania again? Perhaps for the 3DS?

@FireThief

Worst part: It's not. Too little, too late, for too much money. There needs to be more stage and chars and Items released now, not trickled out over months of time.

Sigh I'm already forgetting why I enjoyed this game in the first place. Thank Goodness there is a New CV coming out tomorrow.
